I didn't realize that Holiday Inns had their own rewards program. I'm a member of Priority Club, which includes Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Epress, InterContinental Hotels, Crowne Plaza, Hotel Indigo, Staybridge Suites and one other one I can't remember.
There's no fee to join this program and you can earn points by staying at these hotels, shopping at member merchants, flying on member airlines, renting from member car companies and signing up for offered bonuses.
This has been a wonderful program for us, as DH is a gov't contractor and stays in a Staybridge Suites hotel for approximately 8 months a year (not all at one stay!) and earns a ton of points each year.
To name a few rewards we've claimed:
$600 worth of gift cards for free
6 nights at 2 hotels in Scotland
5 nights at a hotel in London
Single nights at various hotels throughout the country 8 times
We've been members for 8 years so I'm sure I've missed some rewards that we've claimed. DH just got back in mid-December from a 4-month stay and earned 91,000 points. DD#2 has already "claimed" them for a hotel n London in March.
Their address is priorityclub.com if you want more info.
