Hi everybody. I am hoping to get some feedback about the Holiday Inn Maingate East, their two room suites and kids' activities vs. a kisuite and kid's activities at the Sunspree. (We can't all fit in a kidsuite at HI MG E). Thanks!!!
msim, they are very comparable resorts in many ways. The main differences are that HIS is more of a high rise development (and is newer), while HIME is spread out more in two-storey blocks. The basic level of facilities and service are almost identical, although the main pool at HIS is probably better. As regards location, HIS is in Lake Buena Vista, under 10 minutes' drive from Downtown Disney, while HIME is on the construction-dogged 192 in Kissimmee, BUT, HIME also has easy access to the Osceola Parkway and the best route in to WDW these days.
We have only stayed at the holiday inn sunspree and my kids loved it, Alot of activies for them and a my kids loved going in the daycare to play and do crafts and watch moves. We had a kids sutire and there was 6 of us , If i can help with any other questions let me know.
