Holiday Inn Main Gate to Universal

Has anyone stayed at the Holiday Inn Main Gate to Universal at 5905 Kirkman Road? We are a family of 5 and are considering staying here for a few nights to go to Universal.

bumping up as I would also like some reviews . I know they just completed a major renovation of the hotel.

You would be better off asking this question in the Universal Studios forum. We haven't stayed there but we know people who have and they liked it. There are actually several hotels next to each other on that strip of Kirkman, all about a 10 minute walk to Universal Studios.

DH and I stayed there a few years ago and it was a very nice hotel. Clean and comfortable. Short walk to Universal. We also went to a Performing Arts Center when we were there to see RAIN (Beatles show) and the front desk arranged for our transportation. Everyone was very nice, and helpful. The breakfast was good ~ expanded continental which is fine for us.
