Holiday Inn at Universal

I was wondering if anyone has stayed here recently. My family of 5 adults are going to Universal the week of May 13-20 and we have reservations (2 bedroom suite)for the Holiday Inn at the entrance of Universal. I am starting to get worried because I have read nothing but horrible reviews. Any input would be greatly appreciated!
