Has any one stayed there?? It says you can walk to US IOA...is it true??? Any feedback would be appreciated. TIA

I found better information for the hotel on Hotelkingdom.com. Room layout, and general info. I too am looking at the 2 bdrm.

I still have rooms at the HRH (I can't seem too get myself to cancell them). I'll need to cx them tomorrow if I go through with the holiday inn and suites.

Love the Holiday Inn prices!! not crazy about a 1/2 hr walk to parks.

Would LOVE to stay on site, SO convienient! But is it worth the extra $$ ?
Sometimes I wish it was all planned out for me!!

I have the same dilemma. I loved the amenities and benefits the Universal on-site hotels were providing but couldn't justify the price. We will need every bit of space the two bedroom suite has to offer, and are only planning on a one-night stay.

With 6 kids - the free kid's breakfast buffet at TGI Friday's and the free parking and shuttle to IOA were good selling points for this hotel - not to mention the price!

We were willing to give up the FOTL access upon learning the crowds may not be a problem midweek in Oct. You should have the same situation this month.

It really depends on several things - time/money/comfort/overall needs/ etc.
For us, this is a quick stop before checking into wdw which is the main part of our vacation. I have not seen anything negative about this resort and am willing to give it a try.

Good luck and have a great time!

We will be there on 2-21 till 2-23. I booked the 2- bedroom suite thru Hotel kingdom. Ill post info about it upon our return.
I'll be there with my Mom and 4 teenagers!!! Pray for me!!!LOL
(DH opted not to go this trip ) I'm hoping the suite is as spacious as the cartoon diagram looks! I couldn't find much info either.

Hi everyone -

I just tried to check out Hotelkingdom.com's website and could not find this hotel listed anywhere. Not sure how to access this.

I just went to the site to try and finda link for you and I can't find it either  ! I made our reservations about a week ago. Maybe they dropped that Hotel. It was an amazing rate. Thats just plain weird!!!!

CINDY-LOU,

thanks for checking that site. At least I know it wasn't something I was doing. Sounds like you may have gotten lucky with your rsvp. I hope everything works out for you.

If you do find out anything else which may be helpful please pass it along!

thanks again!

I stayed at this property. The location is ideal. I did not attempt to walk to Universal. There was a free shuttle offered in the morning to the Parks, and then later in the day it takes you back (shuttle does not run non-stop). We wanted to go back to the hotel earlier to swim and were too tired to walk it, so we grabbed a cab.

The pool is very boring for an Orlando hotel, but it suited us perfectly. What is really nice is, the TGIFridays staff will come out to the pool to take food and drink orders. Right while you are in the pool!!!

Room Service was directly from TGI Fridays. They even sent up mixed drinks. I stayed in a One Bedroom Suite and it was very roomy with a full sized refrigerator.
