Holiday Illuminations

Let there be peace on earth, indeed. It has to start in our hearts and homes first.

Thanks so much for that, OrlandoMike! Can't wait to get there myself to see it!

We loved seeing that! The night we went it downpoured a couple hours prior so I think that sent some people home, then by the time illuminations started it was just spritzing, we got fantastic seats to view and didn't have to get there early,it was really nice.

I had no idea what illuminations was, everyone just said "you have to see it". it really is beautiful!

When were there just after Tksgvg for my b-day - this was a highlight. I never did get around to telling about the my good show/bad show experiences, so I guess I didn't get around to mentionting this either.

I could watch Illuminations everynight!! It's my favorite way to end the day when we're at the parks.

We had not seen the Holiday edition of Illuminations before. It truly is awesome!!! They had a lot more fire back this time for the Reflections of Earth and Let There Be Peace On Earth was fantastic!! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

ConcK, Knox and I went to EPCOT tonight, drank around the world, called HOB Rick and rubbed it in, and took in Illuminations. Geesh, the holiday tag is beautiful! Knox and I had to share a tissue, big girls that we are! :rotfl2:

Note to self: make sure I have some tissues in my man bag. :thumbsup2

:rotfl2: It gets me goosebumpy, but the waterworks don't come out for that one. Get me in the American Adventure and that's a different story...

Did you even see the fireworks? Last time I looked over at you your face was in a gallon of Frozen Grand Marnier! :rotfl2:

Oh, and that was after the grand marnier. I had the Grand Marnier, then the frozen Grey Goose, and was working on the frozen italian drink during Illuminations.....

If I remember correctly, by Illuminations you were left with a cup of ice shavings! :lmao:

Now Knox........:rolleyes1

When I was a CP I would literally get done with work and go straight to EPCOT just to watch Illuminations. The holiday edition is fantastic and New Years Eve...omg I can't wait!!!

side note - my apt was a good 5 miles from EPCOT. The first few nights of the holiday edition I thought it was thundering outside. After about 3 nights of noticing thunder at the same time and no rain, I realized it was EPCOT. Nothing makes adrenaline rush like that ending.

It thunders at my house every night at 9:12!

Yet no rain, go figure! :confused3

I did not see last them week

Unfortunatly for me with almost 4 year olds I saw its a small world, dumbo, peter pan, the pooh ride, teacups , the monorail, and lets not forget the ever exciting, steam train and people mover.:thumbsup2

It was fun fun fun I tell you :)

3 and a 1/2 year olds dont like boom booms as they called them so much !:rotfl2:

Oh I almost forgot the most most exciting thing that my kids told me they did when they went to Disney World.......Brushed Goats in animal kingdom!!

Are you saying I was a slow drinker, a fast drinker or I was crying into my cup?

Which is it /// hmmm??? :)

Thanks again to both you and Conc for showing such tremendous hospitality to a lost Canadian. :)

Knox

Fish? Pond? You mean we WERE NOT on "Living Seas with Nemo" ??

Knox

I was there at the same time and Mike said he tried to call me.....but could I even hear my phone. I would have loved to have met you two Disers, watched you cry and drink grand marnier whatever they were with you all.

Next time??

Mike - thanks for posting this. I was supposed be down there last week but had to cancel my trip due to my dad's illness. I'm trying to recover by playing the Candlelight Processional cd over and over again in my car. I really miss not being down there during the Christmas season.
