Holiday hats

I wanted to get everyone a hat to wear for MVMCP, but DH saw some of the prices, online, and just said NO WAY. I was wondering if anyone (or if you noticed anyone at MVMCP) that made there own Holiday hats. I have a couple of ideas.

We wore hats that we picked up at Target last year. They were baseball type hats with brown stuffed felt moose antlers coming off the sides. The hats said Merry Chris-Moose on the front.

Since we love Rutt & Tuke, we took the hats to a hat store in the mall and had them embroider Rutt on one and Tuke on the other. We had so many people ask where we got the hats. Even the CM's wanted to know where we found our hats. The best part was when it came time to do Meet & Greets with Kenai and Koda. The CM's handling the bears had such fun with the Moose that had come to visit. lol One even gleefully exclaimed to Koda that "The Moose have arrived!" The people behind us got quite a kick out of it too. lol

I suggest that you take a look around the stores near home for something special. Even consider picking up some plain hats and some fabric paint and create your own. It's just as much fun if not more than the hats that Disney sells.

Also, we have no trouble telling which pictures from Disney are from our December 2003 trip, since we wore the hats almost all the time. Those hats will always be a reminder of a great trip. Maggie
