My sister does Thanksgiving and I do Christmas and usually Easter.

Because DD used to go to her dad's for Christmas, we'd have Christmas about a week early. This worked out great for my niece and nephew as they are in their 20's and have their own kids and other families. We have the big family party early. DH and I have a quiet Christmas by ourselves.

I don't know what we'll do this year, though. DD is living with her dad and will come see us for Christmas and we're going to WDW. I have no idea when we're going to fit the family Christmas in this year but we'll figure something out. Maybe at a hotel near the airport?

My family is very far away, we rarely see them on holidays.

Christmas Eve is always at MIL's house. They did the big Italian Fish dinner. It's the one meal of the year everyone shows up for! *LOL* Christmas Day is at home w/ MIL & FIL. The first year w/ invited IL's for Christmas Day, I made the "mistake" of also enclosing a note on BIL's card also inviting them. (I didn't think they would come, I just thought it was the *nice* thing to do.) SIL left a scathing (almost yelling) message on our machine basically asking how "dare" we invite them, they always spend Christmas Day with *her* family and that they only see (her words) "you people" on Christmas Eve.

Thanksgiving & Easter, (plus the "minor" holidays) are up in the air. It all depends on what the Princess, errhhh, dh's SIL wants to do. Sometimes we go to their house, sometimes they are busy with "her" family so we'll just go to MIL's house. Also, sometimes we just stay home because MIL/FIL go over to BIL's when we're not invited.

We rotate between our house and my MIL's house.

We're doing Thanksgiving. Of course this year we get a nice diversion - doing Christmas on the Disney Magic! :D

We always had Christmas Eve at my parents, and Thanksgiving too..but since my Mom died this June, that tradition has ended.
We are doing T'giving at my house, Christmas Eve at my one brothers..and I expect we'll switch it between the 3 of us each year. Definately be together, though.
My family always had the big dinner on Christmas Eve, my inlaws on Christmas so it's worked out perfectly.
Christmas we alternate, one year at our house, one year at my BILs.
Easter is up in the air between my inlaws or my family, we switched back and forth.

When we used to live close enough to our families to be able to do it, we'd alternate holidays. If we had Thanksgiving at my Mom's house this year, we'd have it at my MIL's house next year, and same thing with Christmas.
