that is one of those cruises that is right between halloween and christmas decorations. We were looking at Nov 3 on the Dream and it is the same thing.
We sailed this "in between holidays" cruise two years ago and will be sailing it again on Nov. 4. Our experience was that there weren't any official decorations, but toward the end of the cruise, the gingerbread house was being constructed in the atrium and there were a few decorations being hung. The kids liked to watch the progress of the gingerbread house over a couple of days.
I am one of the people who like to enjoy the holidays one at a time so we weren't disappointed that Christmas decor wasn't everywhere, but I did hear a few other guests wishing they would've booked the Merrytime cruise instead. My personal favorite is Halloween on the High Seas. No matter what time of year though, its always exciting to be on a Disney Cruise!!!
