When I am looking on All Ears at the menus and prices, I see a link that says there are price increases during peak times. Do we know what those dates and amounts are? The link just leads to 2007 prices, and only include Christmas Eve and Day. But I thought I saw something that shows the higher prices for the buffets somewhere.

I'd say based on last year's dates that they'll be in effect about ten days to two weeks surrounding the holiday. (This year, though, they included the entire month of June - from Memorial Day to right after July 4th)

The Christmas one will probably run from about 10 days before Christmas to a few days after New Years.

From allears.net

Recently, Walt Disney World began charging a premium on certain meals and dining experiences during peak seasons. Such seasonal pricing will be implemented at the following dining locations during peak seasons:

-- 1900 Park Fare
-- Akershus
-- Biergarten
-- Boma
-- Cape May Cafe
-- Chef Mickey's
-- Cinderella's Royal Table
-- Crystal Palace
-- Garden Grill
-- Hollywood and Vine
-- Liberty Tree Tavern (dinner only)
-- 'Ohana
-- Trails End
-- Tusker House

Upcoming peak times that will see the seasonal price increases are:
November 22 - November 29, 2008
December 16, 2008 - January 3, 2009
April 5 - April 18, 2009
May 24 - July 11, 2009

When I asked a CM the other day for our stay the week of Thanksgiving, she told me that the price increase was $4 for adults and I believe it was $2 for kids. I also think I remember her saying Nov 22 - Nov 29.

Thanks so much everyone! I am trying to crunch numbers. We have 9 nights of dining, but 16 credits worth...for a 12 night stay overall. So, we have to pay OOP for some, and I want to figure out which ones are the best ones to use DDP with and which to pay OOP for. The extra cost on the buffet changes things!
