Holiday D-lights Tour

Valid theme park ticket required?
Has anyone done this in the last few years? Did you need a valid theme park ticket? I have seen some sites where people state they do not, and a few where they state that you do. The Disney website doesn’t state it on this tour, but it does on all the others

It says on the website "Price of tour only includes experiences and transportation for the locations on the tour. Valid theme park admission will be required to enjoy the theme parks either before or after your tour."

I this tour November 2018. We didn't need a valid ticket to go on the tour because you stay with the tour and your tour guides. It starts just outside the gates of Epcot and ends after Illuminations, (which may change this year because Illuminations is going away). My mom and I really enjoyed this tour and I was glad I was able to do this for my mom.
