Holiday Card/Gift Tag Swap ***Signup now***

Yes, you make 4 cards of the same design. Then you send them to me and I swap them with everyone in your group so you get 1 each of 4 different designs back. I set the groups at 4 because you can cut 4 card-fronts from one sheet of card stock (so it's a nice even #), plus making 4 cards isn't too much of a time commitment (since many of us are in other swaps concurrently).

You can get the $3.85 stamps at the post office or you can send the equivalent in 37 cent and/or 23 cent stamps if you wish.

The deadline to return is the date you have to send to me. I will turn it right around to you within a few days, as long as everyone is on time.

As far as your design, that sounds lovely. Anything within the holiday theme should be fine. That is what is so great about swaps! You get to see things that maybe you wouldn't normally think of doing yourself.

thanx Joy, for answering my questions! ok, it sounds good. count me in!! again, i want to sign up for group A...holiday theme, blank inside. thank you!!

my very first swap! i'm so excited!! :flower:

Since these are gift tags are we leaving room on the fromt for a to-from, or decorating the whole front and using the back for a to-from area?

Most of the ones I have seen are decorated all-front... perhaps because they can also be adhered on a layout instead of attached to a gift... I don't have a preference... anyone else?

If the groups aren't filled, what does everyone think about combining groups-say a and b, and c and d? You could still do the verse if thats what you singned up for or not if it wasn't. The themes are still the same but then the groups would have more people (it looks like 6-7) depending on the group-so we would need to do more cards. Just an idea so that we aren't just getting 3 cards back for a group.

I'd like to sign up for Group A (Generic blank) and Group C (Christmas blank), if it's not too late. I'd also like to sign up for Group E2 (tags) if you get enough interest.

I don't mind but I was trying the keep the groups small so that people wouldn't feel too overwhelmed with doing so many. If everyone is agreeable, I can combine the groups so that each person makes 8 cards instead of 4.

The gift tag group I will split in half with whoever has signed up, so we may have 2 groups of 8 or something like that.

Any other feedback??

I am fine staying with a small group-and I think most of us signed up for 2 groups-so I shouldn't really suggest more work! lol

i don't mind making 8 instead of 4...but this is my very first swap...now if you combine the groups, do i have to make 4 of one kind, and 4 of another...since they're from different groups? or can i just make 8 of the same kind from my group i signed up for? (which would be group A generic blank) :flower:

im gonna bump this up again - since today (i think) is the last day to sign up . . .

a question...from a new swap participant!

i'm signed up for group A...only 4 people signed up for that group, including myself. so do i just make 3 cards and mail them over to the host(bubbasmom99) ?

thank you in advance for the clarification!! :flower:
