Only got two weeks, 6 days til we get to Florida, but am already dreading coming home.
I detest coming home, and would willingly stay in the land of the mouse.

:wave2: :wave2: :wave2: :wave2: :wave2: :wave2: :wave2:

I try to book our next trip, or at least set a date to go back, but even this doesn't help the big blues!!

Any hints or suggestions to help????

Oh dear, no advice I'm afraid apart from getting that trip booked. I do know how you feel :sad2:

I think it must be a common feeling I know how you feel :sad2: we were going to originally make our next visit September next year but have decided to go for a week the end of this September (I don't have enough holiday days left at work to go for a fortnight :sad2: ).

On a good note you still have your holiday in front of you to enjoy. :wizard:

I know how you feel, im always in the same situation, sometimes halfway through the holiday I start thinking "I dont wanna go home, when should we come back" even though that may sound childish. As soon as I get home I'm usually back on the computer booking the next one whats always fun!

It will be very bad for me this year as there is zero chance of us returning to WDW until 2008 or 2009, Will just have to throw myself into married life and slip in a few DLRP trips to make the wait bearable!

Hehe, I'm glad someone posted about it, I always get the blues about holidays, even on sundays! (lol)... But weve just come back, even though I miss being there I'm having fun picking dates and thinking what were gonna do next time. :thumbsup2

I agree so much! haven't even been to WDW yet and I already want to go back! :teeth:

For me, I get as much of a buzz out of planning and booking a holiday as I do from going on it. Have promised DH though that I will not book anything else for 6 months, or at least until he gets his holiday dates for next year.

Perhaps I should have been a travel agent and not a teacher! :thumbsup2

Cazzie is right though, you still have this years holiday to enjoy, and hey, so do I! :goodvibes

Hi Sara,
I know I'm lucky going in a couple of weeks. Its just the thought of coming back... gets me every trip!! Don't think I'll ever be ok, until we've bought a property out there, and are living the 'snowbirds' dream!

You do know, once you've visited USA, you won't want to go anywhere else!!

We love it!!!!!!!

You know people that have never been really don't understand this at all! I get really depressed if we are not in the planning stages of another holiday. We tend to go to the US because we find it easier to get clothes and especially shoes for DS (at 14 he is 6'4" with size 14 feet) - I went out on Saturday with him to get a new pair of school shoes, he's well and truly outgrown the last pair and what you get in large sizes here, if shops stock them at all are not the sort of thing any self respecting teenager wants to wear, the same goes for clothes 27" waist and 34" inside leg, you just can't get them here and if you are lucky enough to find an odd pair DS would not dream of wearing them 'he would rather walk around in his boxers than be seen dead in them'!!!
So of to plan for next year in the US

Totally agree. I always have to be planning a trip to WDW, I think the planning is fun too :teeth:

I always takes lots of videos and pics when on holiday, then I can look at them a miilion times and bore all my friends and family! :teeth:

The DIS also helps me get over the holiday blues too! :disrocks:
