Hey, only 10 tens till our Disney trip!

When we were in Disney World four years ago, they offered a service where you could have your souvenirs sent to the entrance of the park. This was so nice because you didn't have to worry about carrying them around all day. All you had to do was pick them up on your way out. Does anyone know if they still are doing this. :confused3

Thanks! :teeth:

I do know they have a service where they send your entire shopping bag to the gift shop of the resort ( On Property) that you are staying at the next day. Also depending upon how much you spend if you have them ship it all to your home you don't pay any taxes. For me if I spent over $400.00 in one store the tax money savings paid for the shipping. :cool1:

You can have them sent to the front of the park. We used that service a few times. They will also send it directly to your room if you are staying on site but this takes a couple of days.

Yep both are right, have them sent to the front of the park and pick up at Guest services (or the location they tell you) when you leave. Or have it deliverd to your resort. They won't deliver it directly to your room but they will send it to the giftshop and leave a voicemail when it is there for pickup. This can be the next day or the day after depending on what you are getting.

For transfer to your resort you can't be checking out for at least 2 days. The package is usually at the resort the next day but quite often it won't be available for pickup until very late morning or early afternoon so they won't send a package to your resort if you are scheduled to check out the day after purchase.

Thanks for all of the good advice! :flower: It is nice to know I don't have to carry around a ton of souvenirs all day! Does anyone know if SOG allows souvenirs to be delivered? :confused3

We just asked this question at MK last week and they guarantee your package at the front of the park 3 hours after your purchase.

I actually used the service to surprise my GF when we went with my family in '03. They had these "Disney Bears" at all the shops (not sure if they still have them) and she absolutly loved them. So, while she was waiting in line to get a snack, I slipped away to buy one and had it sent to the front desk. We had bought other things earlier that day, so when we went to pick up our stuff, I opened the bag with the bear inside, and told her we must have gotten someone else's stuff.;) I guess the mischevious grin on my face gave it away, because she didn't believe me at first, but then was extremly happy. She still sleeps with the bear at night when I'm not around.
