If I have made a "normal" reservation with points, if I have holding points can I call MS and switch the points to use the holding points without losing my reservations within the 60 day time period from check in?
Keep in mind the official policy is they can only be used for new reservations booked 60 days or less from check-in. You may run across CMs that won't reallocate the points if there is no availability that matches what you currently have booked.
I was able to book a room within the 60 days, but still had some holding points. Yesterday I called MS about something else, the CM said "I see you have holding points." By the time I got off the phone I had no holding points! Nice surprise!
