Holding points returned to your account. How long?

Anyone who had to cancel due to Irma...have your points been returned to your account yet? I cancelled the trip last Thursday and the wonderful CM at member services I spoke to said she was submitting the request to have the points then taken out of holding and returned to our account (they were banked points from last year). Normally I would be a bit more patient about waiting to see when the points return, but we are planning to reschedule the trip for next year and our 7 month booking window is opening soon.
 
I have points that are supposed to be removed from holding (not related to Irma but were an IT issue). The request was submitted last Thursday I believe. I too have a reservation to book but have another week so if it is not taken care of in the next 4-5 days I plan on calling in.
 
I had to cancel Friday night for my Monday night stay and the points were in my holding account by Sunday.

Today I had to cancel tonights stay (thanks to airline cancelling my flight again). I'm not expecting them to show up for a week since Disney is dealing with so many cancellations.

Unfortunately this are 2016 points that were banked so I'm not sure if I'll get a chance to use them before they expire in December but I'm sure going to try.
 
I was at BWV and checked out 2 days early in order to leave before Irma arrived.
The desk clerk said that my points would initially be placed in Holding and flagged for DVC member services to put points back where they came from since it was due to Irma. (She even suggested that I would have a year to use these returned Irma points.)
She asked me to be patient and if they had not been moved within a month to call member services. If I needed my points sooner, I would call sooner.
 

FYI I checked today and my points are no longer listed in Holding. I did send a detailed email to MS yesterday, figuring they were swamped with calls, and though I did not get a reply, clearly they worked their magic. So that was about 6 days.
 
I cancelled a 1 night stay for Friday night due to Irma airline issues. Initially I thought the points were out of holding by the next day but I realized today they are still in holding. I sent the email immediately after canceling and the CM I chatted last night with about another matter said they would be moved in time. I really don't like how in one place on the site they show as available '17 UY points and yet in the dashboard they are clearly in holding. Oh well not a biggie really. Best of luck to all of you awaiting your points to be returned to the UY.
 
Last year, it took about a week to get the points changed from holding status. I was told it had to be done manually and with all the changes and cancellations due to Hurricane Matthew at the time, it would take a little bit. By now, I hope most people are seeing the change has happened!!!
 
As an update mine were corrected yesterday - so 11 days after the request was submitted by the CM.
 
Well, we went ahead and waitlisted a night and it matched, at GFV! So the points are out if holding and put to fine use. :-):-)
 
I got off the phone with MS just a few minutes ago. She said they were originally telling people 1 week, but now are telling 2-1/2 weeks, due to the amount of changes they have to make.
 
My points went into holding on Wednesday morning 9/6. My points were back by Monday 9/11. I was surprised it was so fast.
 
Mine are no longer showing in holding but now there are double the amount of points there should be left in my account for this year. There should only be 32 (the amount that was put in holding) but all of a sudden there are 79. Guess I need to look further - maybe they haven't taken out the ones from our most recent trip yet.

I want to make sure I have the correct amount of points left to attempt to get a room for 2 nights in November. Probably won't be able to find anything but it's worth a try.
