OK. As the Queen of late booking and cancellation I have 23 holding points that expire in March. Two quick questions that I should know but forgot:

1. If my use year is March I have to use these by 2/28? right?

2. Since I am in the last four months of my use year I can't use them for Disneyland can I?

Hmm... wonder if I can find a few days in Jan or Feb?

From the member website:
What you need to know about using Holding Account Vacation Points: You can use these Vacation Points for a new Disney Vacation Club Resort reservation during your current Use Year as long as you book the reservation 60 or less days before the new check-in date.

  • These Vacation Points can be used for an exchange during your current Use Year in two ways:
    • For The Disney Collection (except Disneyland® Resort hotels in California), Concierge Collection or Adventurer Collection if you're making the reservation more than 4 months before the end of your Use Year for a check-in date that is 60 or less days away.
    • For Disneyland Resort hotels in California and the World Passport Collection as long as the reservation is booked 60 or less days before the new check-in date.
  • These Vacation Points cannot be banked or borrowed.
  • These Vacation Points must be used to complete travel by the end of the Use Year or they will expire.

Thanks. I had just found that. Plus they expire 2/28. I have a business trip to California. May look into spending a night at Disney!

Well, Disneyland Resort is out. I looked at those point charts.... I would have to borrow more points and I don't really want to stay there.

So I just booked two nights at OKW in a studio. Still have 7 points left. Waitlisted one more night. If not, I may just lose the 7.
