Our plane arrives at 10:30ish am and then doing a grocery stop. We have a room at the Villa's. My question is what if our room is not ready. I know you can check your luggage and go off to the parks but what about groceries? Do they do that? or should I just expect to by my milk at the gift shop?
Thanks

We did this last yeat at the VWL. We arrived at 10:30ish and shopped on the way there. When we got there they actually moved our room so we could check in early. They were very nice about it and I would hope they could hold it for you if changing rooms wasn't an option. We plan on doing this again Thurs :Pinkbounc when we arrive at 10:30ish at the Boardwalk Villas :D

Sorry I couldn't be more help,but that's what happened with us :D

Yes, the resorts will hold cold groceries for you. Just let the bell person know this when you arrive. We have done this twice, and it has worked great! A good idea might be to buy a cheapie styrofoam cooler at the grocery store to store them in so you can use it in your room, too.

They have "cold rooms" (office with big fridges, I guess;) ) and will store perishables...not sure about freezer items though. the styrofoam cooler is an excellent idea...you may want to post the same question over on the DVC discussion board...we're just new owners, and someone else may be able to give you a better answer than mine:D
