hold up on my praise on vistana

i wrote on this board less than two weeks ago about how great our stay was at the sheraton vistana resort. then i got my bill. i had the $99 rate but when i asked for an itemized bill, it showed they charged me $119.
i thought this was just a mistake on their part so i called them to have it changed.
first they told me it was because i asked for a refurbished room. (which i did but was NEVER told it was $20 more per night)
so then i read my confirmation and told her it said no where in there that i would have to stay in an un-refurbished room to get the $99 rate.
so i called back on monday like i was told to and then they told me it was because i had a 2 bedroom room.
so now i have faxed my confirmation, which clearly states a 2 bedroom room for $99......i will call them back today

Yikes! That doesn't sound too good, not getting what the confirmation says. I'd contest it with your credit card company if they won't give you the rate you were supposed to get according to your confirmation.

Hopefully this gets straightened out. Sheraton usually has a pretty good name. I'd hate to learn otherwise.

I agree with littlestar. If they don't make it right when you talk to them today, be polite, but tell them that they are leaving you no choice but to contest the charge with your credit card. The cc company will handle it for you.

12 days since i sent the fax confirming the quote they gave me,and still nothing. i have called a couple of times and was told i would receive a call back but nothing yet....
STILL NO REFUND ON THE OVER CHARGE

Good Luck We had a huge fight with them a few years back. We bought a week to try it out. We were making payments. They said they did not get our payments. I had records of all the checks. They sent it to a collection agency. I went to the BBB. I have never been so mad in my life. Then we get there and are suppose to talk to them and they had our time wrong. I said "Oh what a surprise." We never did sit through anything else, and I told them I would NEVER buy anything from them. Horrible bookkeeping. I don't know how, but I ended up calling the corporate Office. I can't remember how I got the number. Hope things work out for you.
