So...even though my folks can't afford the family trip I was HOPING to go on in October...I'm still scheming. I almost have myself convinced I can afford the trip for all of us (3 adults and 1 child) . I used the promo code a few weeks ago on the Hojos site and it showed the discounted rates - this was for October dates. $271 for four nights WOW!!! But now it's not coming up. I thought maybe they are getting pretty full for October so they took away the discount for that month. Then I tried December and no luck. Gritting my teeth I tried November and it isn't working!!!

What's going on?

Are you talking about the Ent. rate discount (SD50)? Those rates are only offered on a certain amt. of rooms, and once they're booked, the rate is no longer available. I would check with Lorealle on the HoJo website boards . . . or just wait a few minutes and she'll be here to answer your questions.

Here's the list of available rooms from the board on the hojoanaheim website. I'm not sure if it's up to date, but if you see the dates that you want, I would call Lorealle and check on it. My dates didn't show up with the ent. rate when I typed them in the reservation site, but they did show up on the list of available rooms. I was able to make my reservation over the phone with the ent rate.



Currently, the Entertainment Rate is available at the full discounted rate of $59/$74 per night + tax for the following dates:

I think it's harder to get the discount to show up on the website. I would just call.

Hi I'm new to the disneyland boards and I was intrested in the hojo I see the dates we are going are listed above with the November 30th till December 7th where can I find an entertainment book and how do I book it with the discount. Any help will be appreciated

You don't need the entertainment book in order to book the room. Go ahead and book it either online or call in-house reservations at their local (714) number during business hours and ask for the ent. rate. Then you will need to purchase a 2009 Ent. book, because I believe the 2008 book is only valid through Nov 1, 2008.

You will need to show the card that is in the front of the book at check-in. You can purchase the books at entertainment.com, but the 2009 books won't be available until around Sept. or Oct. You can purchase the book anytime before your trip, or find a friend who has one and borrow their card.

I'm so excited for such a good rate. I know our dates our far off but I didn't want to loose this rate. I didn't know that The EB card expires in November and that I would have to get a 2009 book. I almost ordered the book today!

That code is right, so I'm not sure why some dates are not showing up as available online! :\

We were going to go from June 8 - 12th but now my DH might be changing jobs and we don't know exactly what dates he will be able to take off. We did decide just this week to go next Friday, March 21-25.
We couldn't get a room at Hojo though which is too bad because I have never stayed there and really wanted to try it out. I called them and they have nothing available for the night of the 21st
We are staying next door at the Fairfield inn but are paying $189 a night (AAA rate)
We will probably upgrade to AP tickets while there so I hope to book our next trip at Hojo! I will have to call them instead of using the website.

Hi guys...i'm sooo glad i've recently found this website...im in the process of booking HOJO for my december trip to DL....i wonder if you could tell me -
1) if someone from the UK can sign up for the entertainment card
2) if anaheim is counted as LA with regards to the book i'd need
3) how do you know that the 2008 card runs out november...we are going in december

i would book the HOJO using the promo code you've posted on here but would be sooo disappointed if i can't get one of those cards

First off, welcome to the Disboards!

The 2008 Entertainment books clearly state that the coupons are effective through Nov 1, 2008. Therefore, you would need a 2009 book for your Dec. dates.

I'm not certain if entertainment.com will mail a book to the UK. I'd suggest checking out their website. I would bet, however, that you could get your hands on one through ebay at least.

Oh, and you don't need the Orange County Ent. book. You can get any of their books for any area the service and the hotel discount will work.

do you think it would be worthwhile me booking using the entertainmentbook.com promo code and hold off until november to see if it could be shipped...in all honesty i can't see anywhere on their website whether or not they'd ship over seas...

I got quoted about $340 for 3 nights as standard, $290 for 3 nights using the mousesavers promo and around $210 for 3 nights using the entertainment card...

We are heading across the pond and staying in anaheim 14-17 inclusive...

I just checked on the Entertainment Book website - entertainment.com - and they definitely ship to the UK. In fact, it looks like they will ship just about everywhere! You can select which book you want (although right now only 2008 books are listed) and then when you continue, you enter your address.

We always get an Entertainment Book because my son's schools are always selling them as fundraisers, but I always forget I have it and never remember until the darn thing has expired! Maybe I'll get to use this 2008 one - which is on at an incredible discount of $9.99 right now!!! (I paid full price in Septmeber though )

They are available for purchase the end of July. We receive our shipment mid July.

Just a suggestion, go ahead and book the Ent. rate now (instead of the mousesavers rate). They won't require the card to reserve. If for some reason you can't get the book, then you can change your ressie to reflect the mousesavers rate (which is much easier to come by than the ent. rate -- which will sell out in Dec, I guarantee it).
