Hojo's Park view rooms blocked by trees?

I just read somewhere, that many of the park view rooms at Hojo's have the view blocked by trees. Is this true? We have a disney park view room booked for November, we paid the extra money to get the room with the view but if we wont' be able to see anything besides trees there's not any point. Can any one confirm or deny this?

They do have a line of pine trees that goes across the front of bldg 1 and yes, they can partially block your park view. Honestly, I wasn't bothered by them, and I thought it added to the beauty of the hotel. You can still easily see your view through the spindly pine branches.

Here's an example of a "blocked view". Obviously, you could take a step to the left and see right past the tree.

Oh that's not bad. I was expecting a giant swack of bushy trees and then maybe you could see the top of the matterhorn. But that looks fine, and pictures never do any justice to a view so as long as I can actually see the park out my window I'm happy.

You can also hear the monorail's horn, and when the train goes by. Hojo is a nice place.

Danger Mouse gave a great example, that is what our theme park view rooms have looked like everytime there!!

When we were there back in March we had a view just like the one pictured above and they were trimming the trees even a bit more. They commented they weren't allowed to get much wider than toothpicks
We had a great view of the fireworks and the park lights at night. The trees were not an issue at all.

This is the view from my room at the Hojo. We were on the 6th floor. My SILs room didnt have as good of a view, but not bad.

We've never had a problem. Usually the fireworks were to the left of the trees and so they didn't pose a problem. Enjoy your stay there. We love it.
