HoJo's or Anaheim Plaza

ok odd question. Both hotels are at either end of the block. Which hotel do you think is closer to the park in regards to walking distance? It's pretty quick to walk from Anaheim Plaza to the gate. I booked HoJo's because the rate was good, it's pretty fast to walk from there to the gate right? Anaheim Plaza is my limit for walking distance, is HoJo's farther or about the same?

Could someone please link to me that graph "steps from each hotel to the gate" I think it was a google maps thing. I used to have it but I can't find it.

If you have the entertainment rate at hojo it is a no brainer hojo for sure. Im gonna say it is a 10 min walk from the hojo.

Hojos is much nicer than Anaheim Plaza. It took us about 7 min. to walk from Hojos to DL and we were pushing a double stroller. I think it is closer than AP and with the Entertainment Rate you get much more for your money!

Here's the link you are looking for, but it doesn't list the Plaza. In my experience, the two are about the same distance, and the HoJo is much nicer accommodations.

The code isn't what you need for the discount, you need the card from the front of any area Entertainment Book. The books can be purchased online at entertainment.com, or you can sometimes buy the cards only on ebay for a couple bucks. Make sure you check to see if your dates have the ent. rate available on the HoJo discussion boards.

Depends on when you're going-- they add dates as it gets closer, depending on how full their reservations are running. For example, there was nothing for July last summer, then around June 25th they added over a dozen dates for July. So you need to keep checking back. You can make a reservation (and still get 15% off, Disboards rate) and cancel it 48 hours before, and use your backup reservation, if your dates don't show up. Be sure to call the hotel directly and ask for IN HOUSE reservations-- the national reservations line doesn't know anything about the Anaheim HoJo Ent rate.

FWIW, the Unofficial Guide lists the HoJo as being slightly closer than the Anaheim Plaza. The UG lists the HoJo at 10 minutes 15 seconds, and the Anaheim Plaza at 11 minutes.
