HoJo to Walmart? Or Walgreens?

Hi! We're leaving tomorrow and will be at the HoJo in less than ONE WEEK!!!

I can't wait!

Anyway... I have a few questions. We won't have a car. I know there is a little gift shop at the HoJo with many things that I might need... but how far is it to a Walmart or Walgreens or CVS type pharmacy? I will need some protein shakes that are usually only found at those locations. Is it walkable or could I take ART? If I took ART - what is that like? Just stand there at the stop and wait? What particular route gets me there?

Also - Is there any beach that is accessible by public transportation? It's not high on my priority list... but if it's easy to get to... I might dip my toes in the ocean!

There is a CVS and a Target on the corner of W Katella and S Euclid. About 1.5 miles from Disneyland. There is also a Walmart north on Euclid about 3 miles away. I don't think ART goes that far down Katella, but I'm sure the front desk at the hotel would be happy to help you figure out options.
