HOJO Smokers...help

I'm facing a trip planning dilemma I've never faced before. We have a reservation at HOJO in November. We have a group with a couple of smokers. I know HOJO is a non-smoking hotel (which I LOVE) but they do have a smoking section. I also know that there is a large fine if you are caught smoking on property anywhere but in that section. We have requested building 2. How long is the walk to the "smoking section"? Is there just one section?

I know where there's SMOKE there is FIRE, so please no FLAMES. I'm just trying to respect all involed and plan accordingly.

I believe there is a small smoking section between buildings 1 and 2. We don't smoke, but I've passed it on my way to the office or gift shop. It's not far at all.

I found this over at the HoJo Anaheim board.

"It's true! HoJo's has gone completely non-smoking! We do not allow smoking in any of our rooms, or even on any of the balconies.

We have one designated smoking area outside, between Building One and Building Three. There is an umbrella to provide cover from sun and the occasional rain, and a bench so that you can sit down."
