Allright, I love the HOJO's now... We have stayed at the Fairfield Inn and BWPPI but the last several times stayed at DL hotel. I have to say that the HOJO's was great.. We stayed in building 1 (disney facing ) and it was nice. The beds were comfy, the room clean, neat coffee maker, 2 sinks thats a plus and the balcony was great too.. I actually liked the walk from DL to the HOJO better than the walk from DL to DL hotel..lol you don't have to deal with DTD but I did miss getting my pretzel!! The gift shop is packed with tons of stuff and great prices too.. didn't get a chance to have the kids swim but it sure did look like fun.. I highly recommened this hotel!! just my 2 cents:banana:

love hearing good things about hojo...thanks! we will be there for the 1st time in only 6 more sleeps!!!!!!!!!!!!

I recommend HOJO to everyone. The hotel staff is great. I guess that is why we will have stayed there 3 times in 2010 (and have two reservations for 2011!).

Ten more days and we'll be there! I have always recommended HoJo's - we love it.

My stay is just 69 days away, and I enjoy hearing all the good reviews. It will be my very first stay there.

I have one question. What hotel is BWPPI?

Getting very excited for our stay at HoJo's now in Decemer the more I hear about it! We stayed at the DLH last time, so that's good to hear about the walk from HoJo's! Thanks!

Best Western Park Place Inn - I think it's one of the hotels across from the Pedestrian Entrance off of Harbor.

That acronym has been driving me crazy. I have seen it used many times. Thanks for filling me in. I have definitely heard of it, I just couldn't recollect it when I was trying to figure out the acronym. Some of them are tricky.

I love reading things like this! I'm so glad that you had such a good stay with us! Thank you for taking the time to post this! :goodvibes

I also recommend that you save some money, and if you've got to have a caffene fix, use the Keurig coffee makers at HOJO's and save some money in the parks. The park coffee is the stuff of horror movies. I found this out the hard way last month after having the misfortune of craving a caffene fix in the parks, and ended up with coffee so bad that I had to toss it. After that misfortunate incident, had my coffee fix at the hotel for the remainder of the trip.

ITA. We loved the coffee makers at the HOJO!

This is where I had my first cup of coffee out of a Keurig coffee maker... :lovestruc I bought one for home and love it! I am having hot coccoa right now... :surfweb:

The gift shop has different flavors of K-Cups too, don't forget to check them out! :thumbsup2

We will never stay at another hotel for DL again... We have tried many different places, but once we found the HoJo, we were hooked. LOVE LOVE LOVE that they offer AP discounts as well as ENT card discounts... If I had to, I would rather stay there at full price than take my chances elsewhere. :goodvibes

Just returned yesterday, HOJO is excellent, surely come again. Calmly walked to the park without problems,. The only inconvenient and even annoying is that the toilet is very noisy when used, otherwise all good. The service is excellent.

How long does the walk take for the average adult? We've been staying at CCI because we love the short walk. When we drive past Hojo's it just looks a lot farther to us. Do you have to cross two streets? We can walk from CCI to DLR in about 5 to 7 minutes. I might be interested in Hojos sometime just to compare, but I love my short walk. :)

If you are staying in Building 1, 3, and 4, then it's an easy 7 mins walk from HOJO's. If you staying in Building 2, if only for the fact that it's at the back of the building, and takes an extra couple of mins to get to the front of the building. If you cross at Manchester it's alot faster, as you get to avoid the crowds from the neighbouring hotels, and the hastle of crossing the driveways from the businesses that line Harbor blvd. Hope that this helps you out.

We just stayed there and the only bad thing was the freeway noise. It was really a lot louder than I thought it would be. We were in the main tall building facing the freeway. I know that's nothing they can change, but for some people it could be hard to sleep. I suggest requesting a room in a different building or go else where if you are a light sleeper.

The staff were very nice, the price was GREAT, and the room was clean and comfy. The walk to the park was great too and we liked Mimi's next door. Maybe they can move the freeway? ;)

OR - you could bring a white noise machine. We always stick one in our suitcase "just in case" we happen to have a noisy room.

We had a room close to the freeway when we stayed in Bldg. 2 on one of our visits. We noticed the freeway noise when we were in the hallway, but once we were in our room with the door closed there wasn't too much noise. We would love to try the Kid's Suites at HoJo, but wouldn't even consider it without the white noise machine since they face the freeway!

We LOVE the HoJo and would definitely stay there again. It is our favorite across the street Hotel and my kids ALWAYS ask when we are going again!
