I tried to call in house reservations today (Saturday) and I was told that they wouldn't be in until Monday. I was wondering if anyone knew what the rates were going to be like for May 1st. We just need that one night.

I did ask an operator on the "regular" Howard Johnson's reservation line and the rate I was quoted was $139.00 for a standard room  I will be the 1st to admit that I've been spoiled with the Entertainment rate in the past so this seemed like a lot to me.......

I remember reading that they are offering a discounted rate for AP holders, which we are...

TIA :flower3:

I just checked the Hojo website for the AP and Entertainment book rates and they are not offered for May 1st. Sorry!!:flower3: (I mean beyond the normal discount of 20% for AP - the great 50% off is not for that date.)

The website showing the discounted dates and prices is www.hojoanaheim.com.

I just went on their website quickly and typed in the code for AP holders which is LNAP (20% off) and the price goes from 139 to 111.20. A little better..... And of course you could keep watching and see if they add the Entertainment rate. :goodvibes

Thanks amamax2 and Kayla's Mom :) I guess I'll go the Priceline "name your own price" way.... I sure hope that being so close to Spring Break May 1st won't be unusually expensive :goodvibes

will you post your win? This is what I am thinking of doing.

I just won the Doubletree......not my favorite of the Priceline hotels we've gotten in the past but at least I know they'll provide a roll away bed if we need it and the kids love the fact that you get warm chocolate chip cookies on arrival.

My 1st bid was $42 for a 3.5 star. It was not accepted so I increased to $52 and got the Doubletree. After adding the tax it came out to &65.94. I know that upon check-in we'll get dinged another $13 for self parking.........

Good luck Indiana Rose Lee :goodvibes post your PL "win" too :)
