Hi there, helpful folk! I have another round of questions, so please pull up a seat and get comfy.....:surfweb:

I made our Hojo resies MONTHS ago, and just found out that two of our three nights are eligible for the Entertainment rate....

SO.....
Do I have to contact Hojo's now and tell them I would like the rate for those nights, since I was quoted the other price when I booked?

There is an Entertainment book being sold here locally, how do I know that it is the one that I need for the deal?

I have two rooms booked. Would I be able to get the discount on both rooms? Would I need two Ent. cards?

Thanks in advance for any insight, I could probably just call Hojos direct, but I want them to think I know what I am talking about when I do..... ;)

You'll need to wait for tomorrow during Pacific time business hours to call, so you have time to get all your answers from here. :goodvibes Remember to call the 714 number and ask for IN HOUSE reservations so you're talking to the folks there at the hotel in Anaheim.

Yes you can change them over. I do believe you can book 2 rooms per card. And you can order/get whatever Entertainment Book is most convenient for you! If your local book has coupons that will help you out at home (like my area's book has four $5 coupons to my main grocery store, so I definitely get my local book!) get that one. If your local book isn't useful and is somehow more expensive than the one encompassing Anaheim (the Orange County CA book) then get that one. If you'll be visiting some other state and the book will be helpful for that, get that one! Any current-for-your-trip Entertainment Book's card will work for HoJo.

Don't forget to see if the disboards member discount (15%) will be better for that other date than whatever rate you have now.

If you don't have a need for the entire entertainment book with all of the coupons, you can get the card only on ebay for about 5 dollars. The book for my area cost about 45 dollars. And apparently, the book/card expires around november, so you may need the 2009 book if you are going in Dec. 2008. Someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Also, you don't need the Ent card to book; just to check in. So you don't have to wait to get the card before you call and ask them to switch your reservation to the Ent rate.

While you're at it... if you have any room requests, like location, tell them now... the earlier you get your requests in, the more likely you are to get the room or area you want!

We had an NQQ1 park view room. We asked for and got top floor, room 1713, and the view was really nice! Not too blocked with tree branches like some of them. We loved our comfy room!

Hope you have a great trip!:goodvibes

*OT...Gail, just read your trip report (cool!) and wanted to tell you what a beautiful family you have!!!

*OT* Thank you very much, Diz! I'm glad you liked the report, I sure had fun writing it and reliving it! :)

It seems from reading on the board that walking to DL from Hojos is about 10 minutes. But if we did want to take the shuttle, how long is the actual shuttle ride. And where does Hojo stand in the order for shuttle stops? TIA!

PS: Do you tip the shuttle drivers.. and if yes, how much?

PSS: If Check in is at 3pm and check out is at noon, does anyone know if you are allowed to check in before 3 pm and if Hojo's offers a late check out?
