Hojo - Laundry Facilities

We'll be staying in a kids suite in building 1 at the Hojo. I understand that there are laundry facilities in this building.

Just wondering what this area is like. Are there only a few machines, limited access hours, long waits? I hope not!

I always seem to need to do a couple of loads of laundry about half way through our trips, just thought I would see what I should expect. I really don't expect, or need, anything fancy that's for sure.

Hi AvidTraveller! We have 2 laundry facilities on our property, one in Building 1 and another in Building 2. In Building 1, the laundry room is in the basement of the building and has 3 washers and 4 dryers. In Building 2, it is on the first floor and has 3 washers and 3 dryers. We are looking to add new machines to these rooms so that there will be 3 washers and 6 dryers. The wait is normally not that long, but this will help a lot! The laundry room is open 24 hours and it is $1.25 to wash and $1.00 to dry. We sell laundry soap and fabric softener at our gift shop, so you don’t need to bring your own.

We've used the facilities in building 1 and I will say those dryers are pretty darn fast too! We were the only one using it both times we used it.
