HOJO Info....from the source

ok I'm registered too............is this going to be another addiction?

Addiction? What addiction? I don't have no stinking addiction!!!!!!!

(did someone say I did? no one's planning an intervention or anything, are they?) :rolleyes1

If you see my post just above, there is confirmation that the entire main pool area including hot tub and kids area will be closed during the renovations. Sorry to be the bearer of potentially bad news. :sad2: Look on the bright side - maybe they won't get their permits or whatever worked out in time and be delayed later into April. LOL! :goodvibes

I know it's disappointing when something like the kids area that you've looked forward to as part of your vacation isn't available. I'm seriously doubting there's going to be a hot tub for me in June. I never swim in the pool, but really enjoyed soaking in the hot tub on previous trips. Especially since we're on our annual Anniversary trip without kids!

I left a message on the thread over there agreeing with you. We'll be there the first week in June, and the hot tub (and really the kids area too) were important to us. Still wish they could wait and do the renovations during the winter when less people care about swimming (I mean I'm sure there is always someone that will be disappointed, but doing it at peak times doesn't really make a lot of sense to me). Oh well, we'll probably still stay there anyway (still have to talk to DH, who loves the hot tubs the most. But he'll also probably still want to keep the good rate). Just a bit disappointing, since I've heard so many raves about their pool area. Was excited to experience it.

i recognize both of you being over there but 5 people isnt alot for a board and there are alot more people on here talking about this than there are registered on hojo side...dont bite my head off sheesh:rolleyes1

Just wanted to correct the statement about "no one"
Give it time. There will probably be more that join. It only just started.
Now, I don't think their board will ever surpass this board but it has its place.

:hippie: :flower3:

I have also posted my concerns about the hot tub situation over on the HoJo boards. I don't think it hurts for the hotel managers to be aware of how we feel about the situation. I'm such a dreamer.....I told them I thought that they should add a second hot tub in the garden pool area. But it never hurts to try!:dance3:

That would be a fantastic idea! We can dream together! :rotfl:

My DH says for the low price we are getting don't worry about the pool........I always obsess on the pool and we could very well never get in it once.......just like to know its there if i want it , like the fire alarms.
