Okay, I know there is a fridge and a micro and we're planning on eating cereal each morning after getting some milk from the lobby (bringing our favorite cereals with us to be sure we have it...Honey Bunches of Oats being my 8 yo son's favorite!)...

WE LEAVE TOMORROW and I now realize I have no idea if they offer any bowls, plates, or utensils. Help please!! Do I need to pack my own?

pack your own. they may have them(i've never stayed at hojo's before) but they also may be out or pricey. when we go we take a plastic tote with all kinds of stuff for the "kitchen".

Yeah I'm such a planning dork of course it makes sense to bring our own...and yet, it didn't make my list of things to bring!!

In the little market in the HoJo (Bldg. #1, 1st floor), they provided plastic spoons when I bought the individual-size cereal boxes.

As far as I know, the rooms in the HoJo would not have any utensils, bowls, etc. Maybe 2 or 3 small drinking glasses.

ITA, it would be easier and cheaper to bring some cereal, bowls, utensils, etc. But it's good to know that you can go to HoJo's little market if you need more. :thumbsup2

I hope you have a great trip! :wizard:

noryglory off topic where abouts in oregon are you from???? and are you flying or driving down????

Lake Oswego. Flying and meeting BF and her kids from Colorado Springs. Then they go home and my husband and younger son join us for two more days. Woo hoo!!

Thanks everyone, we had the cereal on the list, but not the bowls or spoons, d'oh! They are going on the list now!!

We have not stayed at Hojo yet, but from what I have read...
no bowls, plates, cutlery in the room. a few plastic sealed cups in the room for water, etc.
Paper plates, bowls, cutlery is available for purchase at the gift shop in the hotel lobby.

hmmmmmmm... I did not have a microwave in my room last weekend.
Maybe only some of them do.

I did bring my $10 toaster though. :lmao:
and some cinnamon raisin bread for toast.

Have a FUN trip!:wizard:

We didn't have a microwave either.......... I thought we were in the premium room.. :confused3
OP: Definitely do bring your own bowls, utensils, etc. How are you going to wash them out?
I finally got dd in the habit of eating a breakfast bar in the morning: Portable and nutritious, plus on the go if necessary. :goodvibes Good luck!

We picked up those individual "cereal-to-go" in cups. Then a package of plastic spoons. Voila.

Yeah, we're so healthy... we also had pop tarts-- strawberry/chocolate splits. Hmmm. Cheerios or pop tarts? Guess which breakfast item the kids went for?

Though we also had apples and bananas, and generally grabbed one of those to eat while standing in line at the turnstiles.
