HoJo Garden Pool Renovations

We've booked a room in building 2 at HoJo's overlooking the garden pool. I've read that this pool was under renovations and am wondering if anyone knows what type of work is being done and when it's scheduled to be completed.

I read this on another discussion board and had heard rumors earlier in the year that they were adding a pirate themed area to one of the pools. I've emailed a contact at HoJos directly and will share any info I get with the board.

They just began the rennovations when I was there Feb 10. We were in Bldg. 2, 3rd floor. It appeared they were just refinishing the pool. Noise was not a factor because it only occurred between 9 am and 5 pm while most people are at the parks. The manager did provide a letter that if it was at all bothersome, they would make every effort to change your room location.
I don't recall how long they said it would take before the refinishing was complete.

It really had no effect on us since we never heard any work, and we only use the pool / spa at the front of the property.

hey i was there in the same bldg the same days I didnt have any issues either...and the only thing I ever saw was an empty pool...no workman about....

We just returned from HOJO's. While we were ther they were tearing up all the concrete in and around the pool. It was just a big messy hole.

My girls would DIG a pirate themed pool . Here's hoping this rumor proves true! I suppose it would be too much to hope for Hook (they are a bit Peter Pan obsessed). I suppose we can always wander over to DLH and drool.

I heard from Lorealle at HoJo's today and she indicated that the renovations to the garden pool should be completed by the time my family arrives on May 24. I'm still curious as to what they're actually doing........

I'm with you though, I hope she's still able to post, it is strange though that we haven't heard from her in awhile.
