HOJO- extra fees?

I did a search and didn't see this.

If you book online for HOJO- what other extra fees might be on your total other than what it shows online? anyone have experience with this?

It shows me this:

In addition to the Rates and Totals shown, other charges may apply for local amenities like safe warranties and telephone access. Local surcharges or service charges are not included in the total room rate. Local taxes may be additional. Please note that a change in the length or dates of your reservation may result in a rate change. Please check with the property for further details.

What other local surcharges, service charges, local taxes and such might be added? Trying to get an idea how much more it will actually cost.

Add 17% tax. There are no additional fees. If you make calls expect to pay for them. That would be a self incruded charge. As the Hojo stands out for not offering a free breakfast of any kinds you might want to estimate in that cost.

I'll use my cell (AT&T works fabulously there as well LOL)
I've already booked- $129 a night at PVI or $59 a night at HOJO- no comparison. NO way we'd eat $70 a day in breakfast. LOL

I'm just curious how much over the amount it shows on there (once booked- including tax) that it will cost once we get there.

Just add the 17% tax on top of your room price ($59) and your total after taxes will be a little over $69

We have never had any fees at all when staying at the Hojo, free parking and we just use our cell phones for calls.

That's exactly the amount it shows- but then where you put in your credit card info/etc. under that it says "In addition to the Rates and Totals shown, other charges may apply for local amenities like safe warranties and telephone access. so I thought there may be addtl fees/taxes and wondered how much they might be.

They hold on to a bit for incidentals, but that is put back after your stay. I think this is only really important if you use debit.

Where did you get the $59 rate? We want to stay at HOJO because of their awesome pool and they come highly recommended by some DL veterans!

That's the Entertainment Card and AP rate. Check here to see if the rate is available for your dates. If so, either call the direct line to the hotel (714-776-6120) and ask for in-house reservations, or just enter the dates on their web page and use promotion code LKEP.
