HoJo Express Inn COCOA BEACH- HELP!!

Need to find cheap hotel in KSC area to offset TWO stays on-site (first time, very excited!). Hotel Kingdom has a great rate for an efficiency at Howard Johnson Express Inn, 2082 N. Atlantic Ave, Cocoa Beach. Anyone ever been here? It gets 3* on Hotel Kingdom, 2* from AAA, curious about cleanliness. Are there any locals reading this who can go over and check it out, maybe sniff a room (HATE mildew-smelling rooms!) Thanks!

I don't know about this hotel, but if you don't get any responses here, try the Cruise board. I think it's near the terminal so some people may have stayed there. Hope that helps!
