Hojo Entertainment Rate?

When I made my initial reservation, 9/10 was not an entertainment rate night. I was quoted one rate for 9/8 and 9/9, but a different rate for 9/10. I see that they have now added 9/10 to the list.

Do I need to make a new reservation, or will HoJo honor the Entertainment Book rate?:confused3

You need to call in house reservations and ask them to update your reservation. Congrats on having a day added! :)

Exactly what pixiewings71 said! :goodvibes

Just give our In-House Reservations Team a call at 714-776-6120 so we can apply that new rate to your reservation for that day!

We'll talk to you soon!

Thanks to IBLarsen for asking and to DangerMouse for the link. I knew about this page but had stopped checking since my trip is two weeks away. But suprisingly Sept. 6 is now available at the entertainment rate so I was able to change my reservation from $84 to $59 for that night. Yay! :thumbsup2

The link was very helpful, thanks for posting it!

When it says "N/A" for March through June of 2010 does that mean the rate isn't available during those months or it's just too far out and they don't know when it will be available?

On non-entertainment rate nights, what's the best discount you can get? I was quoted 15% off, but I did see on the HOJO boards something about Disney fans getting 20% off. Anyone know anything about that?

This is a great question!

N/A = Not available at this time

As the dates get closer, dates will more than likely open up, so I would recommend bookmarking the link and checking often! :surfweb:

Hope this helps! :goodvibes

Thank you Pixiewings71 and also thank you HoJoAnaheim. I just got off of the phone and now have all three nights on the Entertainment rate!

I'm so glad that you got this all taken care of! Now just don't forget to bring your card with you to show at check-in! :D

They have certain dates that are 20% off. If you are an AP holder you get an additional 5% off.
From HOJO boards:

The regular Disney Fan discounts have gone from 15 to 20% & AP has gone from 20 to 25% for the following dates::

Oct 20th – Nov 25th 20% & 25%
Nov 28th – Dec 17th 20% & 25%
Jan 4th – Feb 4th 20% & 25%

OHH!! THat's better than the military discount I was looking at ! Thanks!

Aw man, they just added our entire week at the entertainment rate.

Ah well, 'twas not meant to be.

Does the entertainment card need to be for Southern California, or can we use our local entertainment card?

Lorealle answered already, but to me, it's all of the above. :) For instance they were showing October at n/a well before now, then some dates showed up, now it's back to n/a again.

Past your cancellation period for your hotel?

Any of 'em, as long as it's not expired! You can even use New Zealand and Australian Entertainment books! So use the one from your area if that works for you (that's what I do), use the cheapest one you can find if HoJo is the ONLY reason you're buying the book, etc etc. :)
