Can I get this rate at the Hojo if I have the online membership to Entertainment.com? Can I use my ID# instead of the actual card from the book? Does anybody know?

They stated on the entertainment.com website that if you purchased the printable version of the book, that you could print the coupon for the HoJo right away, so I believe for the printable version you wouldn't use your code, but rather, the printable coupon.

Edited to add: Once you are 'viewing' the Orange County entertainment book on their website, just hit the tab 'see more' (under fine dining, etc.) and then on the left hand side a search box shows up. Type in Howard Johnson and 2 hotels show up.... select the one you want, and then you will see that it states 'Print this coupon today when you buy this book.' It looks like they will still send the book, though, [which is different than the online version that Shakthi, the OP, posted about] and I am assuming they may state on the coupon that the card [that will arrive with the book] must be presented?? Does anyone who already has an entertainment book who is able to print up a coupon know what the coupon would state on it? Thanks!

The only printable coupon for HJ I see is for 10% off.

If getting an EB for the HJ discount and you don't have anything in your area that's discounted, just buy one, the cheapest one you can find, and subtract the $15 from the discount. That's my advice.

"All Books Are Now 50% Off Retail Price!"

Zoiks, not 15, but many are 12.50 right now. Wow.

But of course, contact Lorealle first, just in case her answer is better than the idea of buying a book you otherwise don't need. :)

the entertainment online id membership that you purchase and print out is the same thing as the card that comes with the books- so as long as you purchase/present either the online membership id OR the entertainment card that comes with the entertainment book- you can take advantage of the entertainment rate!

hope this helps!

It's only $5 per month for the online membership, and one can cancel at any time - Do you know what the expiry date shows on that coupon? The online coupons seem to expire within a couple of weeks (from past experience I had with a free trial) so I'm not sure how that would work. I DO know that the books will go further down in price again eventually, or they will offer a free shipping option again. I guess the membership for the online would need to be active at the time of the trip, is what you're saying, yes? Thanks for the info.!
