Ok, I've got a ?? about the Ent. rate. If I buy the book can I use the rate more than one time or is only good for 1 trip? The rates are great and I'd love to use them for my trips to DL....especially since it seems they are happening at least once a month :lmao: not all due to me but circumstances have us visiting the LA area once or twice a month. And using our passes to DL is a must do while we are there! :rotfl:

I believe you can use it as long as your card is for the current year. :) Enjoy.

The card is good for the entire year. The 2008 card will expire on Nov 1, 2008.

Lucky you getting to go to DLR so often. Just a word of caution, the rates are not available during times where the hotel is expecting higher occupancy. Even if you only get the rate once, I still believe it's an excellent value, though.

Thanks guys!! I think I'll look into that. And I suspected that about them not honoring that rate during the busy times. Lucky, yes....but also exhausted from running the kid around Hollywood for her auditions! LOL I've got an aspiring actress and that's why I'm down there so much....can't afford to fly so we drive it, driving from the East Bay to LA is tiring....LOL :)

The Entertainment Card is good as many times as you'd like to use it for the whole year that the card is valid. When the full discount [$59 for standard/$74 for premium] is unavailable, we do still honor a 15% discount.

Hope this helps! We look forward to seeing you soon!

But if the OP has an AP (I assume she does), the 20% AP discount would be even better. ;)

We are staying one night during the busy season (Friday Dec 21st) and we got the Entertainment rate. :)

Don't you just love it that the HoJo posts here! I think it's great that the hotel takes such a great interest in their clients that they would respond to them on a message board. I found your hotel to be completely wonderful during my stay there in June 2006. I can't wait to come back!

1) would i need the AP in hand when we check in or can i produce it after i purchase it @ the gate (say after we drop off our luggage & walk over)?

not sure if it'll still be offered in '08; but they did offer a small DVC discount on purchase this year ONLY @ the gate.

2) wonder if you can combine different rates & "link" them for a longer stay (i.e. entertainment rate for 2 or 3 days & AAA or other for the the remainder of visit); main idea to avoid changing rooms?

I DO have an AP!!! I had NO idea the HoJo offered a 20% discount for AP holders!!!!! Well, I may be calling the HoJo very soon....my DD has another audition in a few weeks......

I'm so glad you had fun at our hotel last summer! We've gotta get you in here again soon! When you're ready to start planning your trip, send me an email! I'd love to help you!

1. Technically, our Front Desk staff like to see the AP at your time of check in, but you can definitely produce the AP to our Front Desk staff at any time during your stay to get the discounted rate. :]

2. You can't book a reservation with multiple discounts over the internet or through our Central Reservations line, but if you call our In-House Reservations directly, we can definitely note your reservation with the best rates each day using different discounts so that you get the best rate [i.e.- using AP [20%] discount on days that the full Entertainment Rate [$59/$74] is not available].

We give 20% off of our room rates all year [with no restrictions to occupancy/season] if you have an AP. We love our Annual Passholders! :]

I'm sold:thumbsup2 , look forward to visiting you next summer.

I was hesitating because there were so many discounts I couldn't decide which to use lol.

sorry to OP for steering OT, very cool - your daughter is an entertainer?

So, you just need the Entertainment Card when you check in - there's no coupon in the book?

Does it have to be the local Anaheim Entertainment Book, or my local one?

Thanks!

It can be your local book, and no- you don't need a coupon- you just need to show us the card that comes with the book. :]

That's even better! LOL Altho I'm sure I'll use the Anaheim card a lot since I'm there so much. LOL

My DD11 wants to be an actress. We are trying to break her into the business. It's hectic but Disney is a good perk! LOL
