Hojo Bldg 2, pool facing rooms-- SMOKING??

Are these rooms non smoking rooms or is smoking allowed in them? When the hojo website brings up available rooms for my dates it is showing the non smoking icon for all room types except it is not shown for the pool facing rooms. When I go to Loreall's room info on the hojo boards, she states they are non smoking.
I love the pool facing rooms, but dont want to stay in a smoking room. and I dont think I should have to pay more for an upgraded room or get lesser of a room just because I choose not to sleep, eat, live in a smoking environment!
Anyone have any info for me?

All rooms at the HOJO are non smoking! They charge large fines to those who are caught smoking in the room or on the balcony.

That is very strange- because all of our rooms are definitely non-smoking! In fact, we don't even allow smoking on our balconies, at the pools, or anywhere on the property apart from one designated smoking area.

I'll ask our General Manager if he knows why the icon is not appearing.

Yup, all rooms are non-smoking. I have seen people smoking on their balconies but it's not allowed either.

If I remember correctly, the front desk clerks always state that there is a $200 fine if you do smoke on the property as it is a non smoking facility. You should have no problem with those rooms(which I happen to adore) unless you are a smoker!

I always stay in bldg 2 and have stayed in several rooms facing the pool. There has never been any smoke smell at all. I love those rooms, it's a great view facing the pool. Have a great stay!
