hojo and ET rate ?

i am booked at hojo for the kids suite with the ET rate. there was a mishap and the friends who were coming wont be coming so we just need a reg. room. my question is, the dates i have are no longer available. am i able to change my room TYPE but keep my ET rate? because if not, its just better to keep my kids suite since its the same cost as a nice regular room with out the ET. so can they just switch room type still using the ET rate, or no? im stressed now lol
