George sat with Luna and pulled his books out of his bag. He could hear people talking about a student called Harry, who was supposedly in the class. He didn't understand the excitment, but didn't mention it.

daffodil rushed over to herbology, and grabbed a seat right between Lily, and gabbriellle. "Hi!" she said to both of them

Luna also heard all the whispering about Harry Potter. She didn't even know him but she tried to get them to quiet down because she didn't want to make him feel uncomfortable when he arrived. After the attempt, she took out her book and opened up to chapter one.
I hope I get a chance to talk to Harry, she thought, Perhaps I can strike up a conversation about quidditch with him, he seems like the athletic type.

Perpetua got ready for a full day of classes. She was getting very excited

Gabrielle was growing bored with being lectured about the Devil's Snare plant and Professor Sprout was really getting on her nerves. Maybe it was just because she was so eager to meet Professor Snape for potions next class, but the class seemed to be going really slow...

OOC: I found this website, on Herbology and found out this...

For the Gryffindors, Herbology is a double class with the Hufflepuffs. Neville Longbottom is particularly good at Herbology. It's usually the only class in which he raises his hand.

Luna really enjoyed her DADA lesson and she didn't mind that Professor Quirrell was very twitchy. She had potions with the Hufflepuffs next but she heard that Snape was quite strict

George was disappointed they didn't do anything practical in DADA. They just read a few pages in the text book. He was looking forward to Potions because it should be more practical, but he'd heard from others that the teacher was rather cruel.

Gabrielle walked to her potions class, her excitement building with every step. As she entered the classroom she noticed Snape talking to a young blonde boy who looked as if he were her age. They were whispering, and in order to get a glimpse of their conversation she choose the seat closest to them.

"Malfoy, it is none of your business," Snape said.

"It is my business especially if that Potter boy was in the vault!" Malfoy said clearly upset.

"Don't worry about Potter," Snape said spitting his name.

"What are you talking about?" Gabrielle said before she could stop herself.

"Oh, nothing dear, nothing," Snape said in a patronizing voice.

Gabrielle nodded with feigned acceptance, " Sorry for intruding, Sir, deeply sorry."

"Don't worry about it little one," he said.

"I wonder why everyone thinks he is so mean," Gabrielle thought to herself.

"You know I have been really excited to have this class," she told Professor Snape.

"Naturally, your mother was very good at potions," he replied.

"Yes, my mother loved your class."

"I hope you will love it too," he said.

With that more students began filing in. Gabrielle noticed George from the train, and Luna.

Luna spotted Gabrielle in the front of the classroom. She a bit afraid of Professor Snape but she gathered some courage to sit in the front next to Gabrielle. "Hello Gabrielle," Luna said, "I just had defense against the dark arts. Where did you come from?"

Alicia found her way to the dungeon to the potions classroom. She was slightly frightened by Professor Snape, but she decided that she would try to impress him with what he had read so far in her textbook
