I was sitting alone in a compartment all this time, but I got tired of just reading my books in silence so I've come to find some people to sit with.

My name is Alicia. Both of my parents are muggles so I don't really know much about all of these things in the wizarding world, like quidditch or those odd jelly beans (which I just got one that tastes strangely like grass). I have been reading up on everything though and from what I've learned I want to be in Gryffindor; it definitely sounds like the best house.

I don't buy anything on the trolley because I forgot to bring money and nobody is in the compartment but me and my good twin. I'm so excited I can't wait to become a death eater and meet Voldemort himself!

George awoke from his slumber and looked around. There was nobody in the compartment anymore. He looked out the window and noticed the sun was setting. "We should be getting there soon" he thought aloud. He was hungry, but had already missed the trolley. Luckily, he had packed his own food. He pulled out the History of Hogwarts from his bag and read it whilst eating a ham sandwich.

The train journey felt like it would never end. It had only travelled half the way. George was getting bored. Luckily, he had packed a handheld game (OOC: Is this following the Harry Potter timeline, which means it's 1991, or are we at now?) so he started playing.

Why not just open it on Christmas Day, and tell people not to go any farther than the sorting and maybe sitting at the table with your house.

Emma was jostled awake by the tremblings of the train. She was, oddly enough, in the hallway, far away from where she had been previously sitting.
"Must have been sleep walking..." she mumbled, sitting up right on the floor.

George decided to explore the train, noticing the lack of people at the back, but the large amount at the front.
