Freya: She was sitting next to Lucius. They were in shackles. Prisoners. She had heard Melanie's question but refused to answer. Then she remembered something. They were in the chamber. Where was the basilisk? She spoke in passletoungue. She heard a loud cry. "Looks like you've forgotten something."

Professor Black: She felt her heart skip a beat. No. It couldn't be...but yet there it was, slithering through the chamber. "Don't move a finger," she told the children. Why was it always those three?

Veronica: "Quiet and let me concentrate please!" This was very advanced magic or poison or whatever the death eaters used to hurt him. Veronica would need quiet to focus and concentrate and figure out whatever she had to do to save Jackson, and Gabrielle moaning and crying and Jane doing whatever was going to hinder her more than anything.

OOC: Time is very weird here. Wasn't transfiguration at like 10 o'clock in the morning? And now it's morning again?

Veronica would need quiet to focus and concentrate and figure out whatever she had to do to save Jackson, and Gabrielle moaning and crying and Jane doing whatever was going to hinder her more than anything.

Professor Black: She hadn't any idea what she was going to do. She couldn't speak parseltongue (excuse spelling again), and she didn't have any other weapon but the wand. Would a wand even damage such a creature? She thought not.

Professor Black: She hadn't any idea what she was going to do. She couldn't speak parseltongue (excuse spelling again), and she didn't have any other weapon but the wand. Would a wand even damage such a creature? She thought not.

OOC: If she had the Sorting Hat, she could pull out the Sword of Gryffindor.

Professor Black: Melanie turned to her aunt, rolling her eyes."You really are an idiot. Do you not understand what this means? If I cannot get rid of the basilisk, you'll only die along with me. Or was that your plan? Lure me down here by taking the only blood relative alive that I have so you can kill all the blood-traitors. Too cowardly to finish me off yourself." She knew it wasn't true; of course Finch would have never wanted her interfering, but the words merely slipped out of her mouth before she could stop them.

OOC: Just to clarify Augustus Rookwood, Gillert Gridenwald and about forty to fifty death eaters have already escaped. They tricked Freya and Lucius who are now prisoners of Melanie. Freya called the basilisk which is now in the chamber, but from the ritual to bring back Gillert, it is blind (remind you of anything???) Linus is dead, like not coming back. Though his corpse is still in the school. Minister Ricardo is officially dead too. I'll let Veronica save Jackson....again.

She was stalling while she did some quick thinking. The basilisk couldn't see, but could smell. She needed a scent, and she need one quickly. "Veronica," she rushed, "do you have any perfume on you?"

If it makes you feel better, you can always kill him later. Veronica can't save him every time, she might be a good healer but she's still 16.

Veronica: Veronica stopped casyting and chanting long enough to summon a fist-sized bottle of perfume. "I do now." She tossed it at Professor Black, then kept healing. She was sweating, her head was aching, but she was healing.

"I'm glad I gave him the location of your mother and Christine. They deserved to die. As do you. You are a disgrace to the name Black."

OOC: I also do not plan to kill Jackson off anytime soon. Maybe eventually. But, he is my most developed character. I also want to see where his relationship with Gab and his new cousin Melanie will go.

Also, something ironic is that I have a cousin whom I am super close to named Melanie.....

Veronica: Veronica stopped casyting and chanting long enough to summon a fist-sized bottle of perfume. "I do now." She tossed it at Professor Black, then kept healing. She was sweating, her head was aching, but she was healing.

Professor Black: She caught the bottle and quickly twisted the lid off, then held it to her arm and let a few drops of blood into it. She started spraying it in a pathway away from them and away from the entrance. If this didn't work, nothing would.
OOC: lol it pays to have lived like a muggle when she was little!
