Professor Black: "You do realize we are still about to be killed? We'll probably keep cells in here...If we're lucky. You know what? I lied. I really do want to know why you changed towards me all of a sudden." then, as if remembering his comment, "you were there-I remembered you. When I was a first year, I knew you. I was sitting alone in the kitchen and then you just...showed up all of a sudden."

OOC Morning! What did I miss? And before anyone says anything, yeah, the transfers were supposed to come in yesterday, but with the whole Azkaban deal and the meeting ending a little late then Jackson, I got busy. Anyway, what did I miss? After I'm caught up I'm thinking it'll be dinner, and at dinner the transfers will be coming in! Yay!

OOC: Um, Veronica has been playing healer, Luke helped Jane to the Hospital Wing after she fell and hurt herself, he's also got a cast and crutches for his ankle, stuffs been going on in Azkaban, Jackson's died and nearly died a couple times.

Jackson: He smiled. "Make sure to get something for your shoulder. You do not deserve to be in pain after all the good things you have done tonight." He had a thought in his mind, he actually trusted Veronica more than his own girlfriend. But why? "Thank you for staying with me. Do you have any idea who that woman was? I am sure the Professors are out searching for her."

Veronica: "I will in a second. How are you doing?" As she checked the label on the pain potion bottle, she smiled at his comment. Veronica Spencer didn't think she had done all that much tonight, but she was glad Jackson was appreciative. Deciding that the pain potion wouldn't work for her, she went over to the cabinet. As she pulled out a different pain potion, she said, "No, I had never seen her before in my life."

Jane: " Was I the only one who thought that woman looked just like Jackson, or is my memory messed up from hitting my head?"

Luke: "I have no idea what you're talking about."

Veronica: "I was too busy trying to heal Jackson, I didn't even look across at her until she hit me with the stunning spell." She measured out the correct dose of this potion and swallowed it down.

Veronica: "I had just left the library with my books, when I came across the staircase and noticed there was blood on the stairs. At first I thought it was a little odd, because strange things have been happening all day, but then I remembered that this was Hogwarts, strange things happen all the time, and I figured for all I knew it was a couple of guys fighting over a girl or something. So I get to the bottom of the stairs, and there's Jackson, lying on the ground, and right next to him is Gabrielle - Ravenclaw girl in my year, Jackson's girlfriend - and she sees me, and she pretty much tells me that he's dead. In surprise I drop my books, and I ran over. I noticed there were also a couple of Gryffindor girls, Cindy, and I think the other one's name is Jane. I check over Jackson like any sensible healer would, and he wasn't breathing, there was no pulse and he was pale, and I knew he was dead. I also noticed traces of a curse, something minor like a Stinging Hex or something, he was actually probably killed by the fall. At the same time I'm talking to Gabrielle, but somehow something had happened to her memory, she couldn't remember Jackson or the fact that we had become friends as of very recently. Then, I guess something I said jogged her memory, and she seemed to get her memory back. So we're all sitting here panicking, and Jane goes running to find you, and then I decided that this wasn't something the younger kids, especially the first years, needed to see, so I started trying to convince Gabrielle that we should move the body, and then somehow he was alive again and then you came along."

Jackson: He was unsure of his current location. Though he did remember falling and then darkness. He thought he spoke to his father, it must have been a dream. He was experiencing a major blood loss and it needed to be stopped or it could prove to be fatal. He let out a wimper.

Veronica: Veronica looked from Professor Jay to Jackson. "I suppose someone needs to treat him." Veronica pulled out one of her books on injuries out and followed the instructions on the page. She started by cleaning the wounds, then gave him a blood-replenishing potion and started putting creams, disinfectants and treatments on the wounds. She worked quietly and efficiently, not quite happy but satisfied to be healing.

Jezebel: When the mysterious lady appeared and disappeared, she had hastily spent a few spells, which had missed her. She relaxed when a nurse entered. "Watch them," she said, and fled the wing, eyes narrowed. She had to talk to someone. She entered the Great Hall, her head in the clouds. She looked out a window and noticed it was almost dinner. Already?

Professor Smith: Evan was pacing in the Great Hall, where he thought he could be alone. Where was she? What had happened to Melanie? Was she all right? No, she couldn't be all right, she had sent the signal, but what could she possibly be doing? He was worried, so worried for his friend. The had been friends since she came to Hogwarts a year or two after he did. Evan was now thirty, that was a long time to be friends with someone, and Evan hoped he always would be friends with Melanie. He was so anxious about her, he just wanted her back at Hogwarts and safe. He swore to himself that if Linus caused her death, he would kill him. Linus would not hurt his friend and get away with it.

Jane: Her head had healed, so she headed to the Great Hall for dinner. She sat down next to Cindy. With any luck, tomorrow would be normal.

Lucas: Luke went down to dinner slowly. His ankle wasn't feeling so bad now, but he was still getting used to the crutches.

Professor Black: She looked down, saying nothing, although she was a
Bit touched at his words.
Of course he hadn't wanted her to know-it explained everything. But more so now than before she knew she couldn't let him die. She had to think of some way to get them out.
"Explains a lot," Melanie said indifferently.

Gabrielle: she slowly walked to dinner, and sat alone. She was worried. She was still suspicious about so many things. Would Jackson truly be honest with her? She hoped so. Her being honest with him caused this whole thing. She knew he had more answers. She knew he didn't want her to get hurt. But she wouldn't. She was too strong for that.

Jezebel: As students began to enter the Hall, a sudden excitement flooded her as she remembered the transfer student would be arriving shortly. She walked to the podium set up in front of her chair, waiting for the rest of the students to enter the Hall, mind whirling.

Cindy: Cindy saw Jane and gave a small wave. "You okay? I heard you went to the Hospital Wing," she said, concerned for her friend.

Vanessa: After spending a while in the Common Room, Vanessa entered the hall for dinner. She saw the Headmistress standing. She'd probably give them a very long and boring lecture on safety or whatever.

Veronica: Veronica looked apologetically at Jackson. "It's nearly time for dinner. I should go eat. I think both of the nurses will kill me if I don't eat. I'll see you soon, okay? I'll be back as soon as I can." Veronica gave him a smile and left the room, heading down to dinner. She walked in and sat alone at the Slytherin table.

Professor Smith: Professor Smith noticed the students come in and checked his watch, it was pretty much dinner time. He sighed and sat down at his place at the table, he didn't want to pace and look worried in front of the students, they might get worried, but he wasn't terribly hungry, he was too upset about Melanie.

Jane: " I'm fine. Some lady ran past me, and hit me with a stunning spell, and I hit my head on the wall."

Cindy: Cindy frowned. "Just a random lady?" She rolled her eyes. "Can't have a normal day," she stated. She pushed her blonde hair from her face and stole a glance at Professor Jay. What would she be telling them? Or was she just standing for the fun of it?

Jane: " She attacked everyone in the hospital wing,and ran. How could she get in, though? Apparating and portkeys don't work at Hogwarts!Unless someone let her in..." She noticed Vanessa glaring at her.

Veronica; Veronica shifted uncomfortably in her seat. For some reason, dinner was kind of being stalled. Then she saw Professor Jay standing there. What is she waiting for?

Lucas: Luke entered the hall and quickly sat down at the Hufflepuff table, leaning his crutches on the table on his left side. When anyone asked, he told them, "Quidditch injury."

Jane: " She attacked everyone in the hospital wing,and ran. How could she get in, though? Apparating and portkeys don't work at Hogwarts!Unless someone let her in..." She noticed Vanessa glaring at her.

Lucinda: Lucinda's eyes widened. "Wow," she said. "Now there's a madwoman in the castle."

Vanessa: When Vanessa saw Jane noticed her, she simply turned around, not in the mood at the moment to start a fight- or, conversation. She watched the Headmistress.

Jezebel: Jezebel noticed most of the students were in the hall now. She began to speak. "Welcome everyone," she said, her eyes skirting the Hall. "I realize that for some, today was difficult. But I have some exciting news. Durmstrang and Beauxbatons, two other major wizarding schools, have agreed to send transfer students for one year! They will be arriving shortly, and I expect everyone to give them a nice, warm welcome."
