OOC: The teachers are having a staff meeting, we've gone through all the classes, lunch might still be going on.

Professor Smith: "Hey Harriet," Evan said, the joking tone gone from his voice. This was one of his rare serious moments.

Harriet: "hi. So what's with all this crap going on?"

Jezebel: Jezebel smiled. "That's what most of the meeting will be about," she admitted. Then a sparkle came to her brown eyes. "But I also have a great surprise."

Professor Black: She stood where she was, much paler than usual, and stared at Jezebel, wondering.

Professor Smith: Professor Smith grabbed a chair. "There hasn't been an even worse first day since......" He paused, trying to think of a similarly wore first day. "Since I was in sixth year," he finished, slightly appalled. That had been a bad day. Then he raised his eyebrows. "A surprise?"

Professor Black: She stood where she was, much paler than usual, and stared at Jezebel, wondering.

Professor Smith: Professor Smith grabbed a chair. "There hasn't been an even worse first day since......" He paused, trying to think of a similarly wore first day. "Since I was in sixth year," he finished, slightly appalled. That had been a bad day. Then he raised his eyebrows. "A surprise?"

Jezebel: Jezebel smiled. She was glad the tension was wearing away. "I'm allowed to have fun too," she said. "And hopefully this surprise will be great, especially for the students."

Professor Smith: The professor smiled. "Even now, you can still keep up the suspense." Evan wondered what the surprise was, he hoped it would improve things, or at least his mood.
