Jane: " Yawn. What have I forgotten... LUCINDA! She set me up!" * Storms up to Cindy. " Honestly, I thought we were friends!"

Cindy: Cindy winced at Jane. "I'm really sorry, I really am! I was just so tired, then I forgot, and oh my goodness I'm really sorry, Jane!" She felt awful.

Professor Smith: Professor Smith woke up groggily. It was the first day of classes. He'd spent the night prepping his class, and he had put his head down for just a minute.....well, clearly it was longer than that now. He quickly got ready and started to head down to breakfast.

Lucas: Lucas woke up to one of his dorm mates leaping on top of him. He groaned. "Get off! I'm awake, I'm up, I'm up!" Luke heard his dorm mates laughing at him as he got up and started getting ready for the day. It would be his first day of classes as a fifth year. He wondered if they would be especially hard because of OWLs. It didn't really matter though. He was a Hufflepuff, he'd work hard no matter what. Grinning at his dorm mates and friends, he finished getting ready for the day and went into the common room.

Veronica: Veronica woke up, shaking her head to get the hair out of her face. Her dorm mates ran around styling their hair and putting on too much make up, largely ignoring her. Nic got up and got ready for the day quietly, her mind far away. Her OWLs had been good enough, and last year during career counseling Professor Linus had approved, so Veronica was taking several NEWT level classes that would help her with her dream of becoming a great Healer. And she was so excited.

' Its okay... Sorry, I shouldn't blow up like that. Can we try again after school?"

Cindy: Cindy smiled. Jane wasn't too mad. "Yes," she said. "We'll have more time anyway. Well, after homework, if we have any." She grabbed her wand and pet Mira. "Wanna head down to breakfast?"

Lucinda: Lucinda smiled. "Mira. I've had her since I was seven."

Ella: She woke up and yawned. " Good morning! " she said to everyone. No one even looked in her direction. She sighed. What did she expect? no one ever noticed her. It was like she always had an invisablity cloak on!

Professor Smith: Professor Smith walked into the Great Hall, his hair still tousled from sleep but otherwise appearing presentable. He looked around and realized he didn't see anyone else in the hall.

Veronica: Veronica finished getting ready and decided to hang out in the hallway. She didn't particularly care to get jeered at by the other Slytherins in the common room. She left the common room and walked until she found a window with a nice ledge for sitting on. She sat down and popped open a book, much like a Ravenclaw might do. But then, she almost was a Ravenclaw, so it made sense that she had some of the characteristics of one.

Lucas: Lucas walked into the Hufflepuff common room. He chatted with some of his teammates and friends for a while, but then they all went off to read or study or talk to their crush or whatever, leaving Luke by himself. Bored, he decided to leave the common room and wander the halls for a bit, so he walked out of the common room.

Professor Smith: Professor Smith walked into the Great Hall, his hair still tousled from sleep but otherwise appearing presentable. He looked around and realized he didn't see anyone else in the hall.

Jezebel Jay: Jezebel walked into the Hall behind Professor Smith. "Good morning," she said. She stopped and gazed around. "Well, people are obviously sleeping in. Pray it doesn't become a habit," she commented.

Cindy: Cindy looked outside and did a face palm. "We need to get to breakfast!" She opened the portrait, which disguised the Common Room, and made her way through the moving stairways. Finally, she ran around a corner and almost ran into her mother. She turned pink with embarrassment. "Oh! Sorry, mo- I mean, Professor," she said uncomfortably.

Jezebel Jay: Jezebel walked into the Hall behind Professor Smith. "Good morning," she said. She stopped and gazed around. "Well, people are obviously sleeping in. Pray it doesn't become a habit," she commented.

Jezebel: Jezebel laughed. "Why, when I was in school, everyone would be bright eyed and bushy tailed! Or at least act like they were," she said with a smile. Then she looked at Lucinda. "Good morning, Lucinda," she said. "It seems you're the first one here."

Lucinda: Lucinda gave a warm smile to Professor Smith, butterflies in her stomach. She didn't like talking to the teachers, it made her feel nervous. "Good morning, Professor."

OOC Cindy is just like me... I can't talk to any of my teachers

Jezebel: Jezebel laughed. "Why, when I was in school, everyone would be bright eyed and bushy tailed! Or at least act like they were," she said with a smile. Then she looked at Lucinda. "Good morning, Lucinda," she said. "It seems you're the first one here."

Lucinda: Lucinda gave a warm smile to Professor Smith, butterflies in her stomach. She didn't like talking to the teachers, it made her feel nervous. "Good morning, Professor."

Evan was usually the dorm mate that would be first up in the mornings and would leap on his friends' beds to wake them up. Glancing at Lucinda, he smiled and greeted, "Morning Miss Jay."

Lucas: Lucas wandered the halls until he arrived at the Great Hall. It was pretty much empty except for a Gryffindor girl, Professor Smith and Professor Jay. He hovered in the doorway, unsure of whether to go in.

OOC: I'm bored, and there's no Hufflepuff or Slytherin on so I'm just going to drag the more sociable one in.

Jezebel: Jezebel watched in amusement as her daughter hurried off. Then she faced Professor Smith. "Will you be able to attend the staff meeting later today?"

Lucinda: Lucinda only gave a little nod and hurried to the end of the Gryffindor table, blushing. She looked over and saw a Hufflepuff boy. She faced him and wondered if she should go greet him.

Jezebel: Jezebel watched in amusement as her daughter hurried off. Then she faced Professor Smith. "Will you be able to attend the staff meeting later today?"

Professor Smith: Professor Smith nodded. "I expect I'll make it. As long as a Dementor doesn't come and steal my soul or something else happens to prevent my attendance, I'll be there."

Lucas: Lucas noticed the girl was looking at him, and so he gave her a little wave. The Hufflepuff table was on the other side of the Gryffindor one, so he decided he'd walk by her and if she spoke to him, he'd hang out and chat. He didn't recognize her, so maybe she wasn't in his year.

Professor Smith: Professor Smith nodded. "I expect I'll make it. As long as a Dementor doesn't come and steal my soul or something else happens to prevent my attendance, I'll be there."

Lucas: Lucas noticed the girl was looking at him, and so he gave her a little wave. The Hufflepuff table was on the other side of the Gryffindor one, so he decided he'd walk by her and if she spoke to him, he'd hang out and chat. He didn't recognize her, so maybe she wasn't in his year.

Jezebel: Jezebel laughed. "Yes, I'm sure that would put a small dent in your ETA," she joked.

Cindy: Cindy returned his wave, wondering who he was. She'd never seen him before, but she also tended to focus on the people in her House.

Lucas: Lucas started to walk to his table, but decided to just go and talk to the girl already, and not follow his old plan. He was a Hufflepuff seeker for crying out loud, this was kind of what his house did! He walked over and gave her a casual smile. "Morning! It's a nice day out, isn't it?" Luke was good at casual conversation, he'd already proved that with August last night.

Lucas: Lucas started to walk to his table, but decided to just go and talk to the girl already, and not follow his old plan. He was a Hufflepuff seeker for crying out loud, this was kind of what his house did! He walked over and gave her a casual smile. "Morning! It's a nice day out, isn't it?" Luke was good at casual conversation, he'd already proved that with August last night.

Lucinda: Lucinda gave a polite smile to the Hufflepuff boy, who was beginning to look familiar. Probably on the Quidditch team, she realized. "Yes," she said happily. "Shame we'll be here enduring a day of the rules being restated and such," she said, rolling her eyes.
