Lucas: As the feast began to end, Lucas smiled in farewell at August. "Well it was nice to meet you August. I'm a prefect, so I have to go lead the first years to the dorms. See you in the common room maybe?" He got up and yelled, "First years, follow me!" Like the prefects of other houses, he rounded up the first years to lead them to the dorms.

Jezebel Jay: The Headmaster stood at the end of the feast. She gave a quick speech on rules, especially the forest. She finished with her usual statement. "Prefects, lead you House to the dormitories. May everyone have a magical evening! Class begin tomorrow."

Cindy: Cindy stood at the end of the feast and began to usual journey to the Gryffindor Common Room. She toyed with her hair on the way.

Lucas: Lucas nodded at Professor Jay's instructions and led the Hufflepuff First years to the house common room. Luke was happy, he could remember when he was a first year and being shown to their dorms for the first time. Now he swept a cautious gaze over them, making sure he had the same amount of students he left with. He did not want to lose a first year or two on his first night as prefect.

Veronica: Veronica lay on her bed in her dorm room, sure that her dorm mates would be here soon. The feast had to be ending by now. She worked on her excuse, she might not need it tonight, but she never knew, they might catch her awake.

Lucas: Lucas led the first years into the Hufflepuff common room, showing them the trick to get in. He showed them the common room, and then pointed to doors. "Those doors lead to the common room. Boys on the left, girls on the right." Luke smiled to himself as the students marveled at their new home, he wouldn't be surprised if many were muggleborn, Hufflepuff usually had many of the muggleborns in every year, which of course he didn't have a problem with. He himself was a halfblood.

Professor Smith: Professor Smith nodded respectfully at Jezebel and looked out the window. "Yes, it is quite nice, especially when compared to last year's weather." Last year it had been storming, in fact it had stormed all night long. "Remember how the first years kept jumping every time there was a lightning strike?"
