Ivan: Ivan tried to not answer, but there was little he could do. He replied, "Because her father killed my little sister. She has it out for us, plus I'm scared she'll hurt the people I love."

I'm still having problems trying to dig into Mel's brain so that affection may not stay long. It depends.
