Hogwarts RP: the fantabulous part seven!

Evan: He banged his head on the back of the couch. He had been speaking in a normal, level tone, so he didn't get why she was freaking out.

Darius and Kellie: "Hello."

Christine: "Oh. I thought you were a death eater."

Corbin: "On the contrary. I am Minister of Magic, actually."

Georgie: "Now you're hurting yourself because of me!" she cried.

Corbin: he sat down. "Evan, Georgette is showing an obvious symptom of schizophrenia right now. She is not, and will have troubles in the future with reacting well in social situations, like many others with her condition."

Georgie: "stop it."

Lily: She woke up hearing voices. She walked in slowly and hugged a girl that looked like her daddy(OOC: Christine). "I'm Lily!"

 

[Fairywings]

Corbin: "On the contrary. I am Minister of Magic, actually."

Georgie: "Now you're hurting yourself because of me!" she cried.

Corbin: he sat down. "Evan, Georgette is showing an obvious symptom of schizophrenia right now. She is not, and will have troubles in the future, she cannot react well in social situations, like many others with her condition."

Georgie: "stop it."

Evan: "Xavier, I do not recall asking for your help. Shut your know-it-all, nosy, superior mouth."

Christine: "We don't like him?"

Evan: "Not at all."

Christine: She shrugged acceptably. "Okay."

Kellie: She whistled. "Someone didn't give Evan a very good first impression."

Darius: "First impressions are everything with this guy. If you give him a horrible first impression, it's very difficult, almost impossible, to change it."

Kellie: "It's possible of course, I did."

Evan: "Xavier, I do not recall asking for your help. Shut your know-it-all, nosy, superior mouth."

Christine: "We don't like him?"

Evan: "Not at all."

Christine: She shrugged acceptably. "Okay."

Kellie: She whistled. "Someone didn't give Evan a very good first impression."

Darius: "First impressions are everything with this guy. If you give him a horrible first impression, it's very difficult, almost impossible, to change it."

Kellie: "It's possible of course, I did."

Melanie: She sighed quietly and sadly.

Georgie: "She is your auntie, Lily."

Melanie: She sighed quietly and sadly.

Corbin: "I-I-I'm sorry. I was only trying to help." he walked out of the room and put his face in his hands.

Georgie: she looked up. "That was mean, Evan. And in front of Lily." she pulled her daughter onto her lap.

Evan: "Well jeez, if he didn't talk down to me and everybody else and actually respected us, I might have a shred of respect for him. I only keep from saying stuff because he's Melanie's fiance and I respect her, and he's the Minister of Magic so he can throw me in Azkaban under some silly pretext or another if he really wanted to."

Evan: "Well jeez, if he didn't talk down to me and everybody else and actually respected us, I might have a shred of respect for him. I only keep from saying stuff because he's Melanie's fiance and I respect her, and he's the Minister of Magic so he can throw me in Azkaban under some silly pretext or another if he really wanted to."

Melanie: She spoke quietly. "He wouldn't throw you in Azkaban, Evan." She looked a little hurt.

Evan: "Well jeez, if he didn't talk down to me and everybody else and actually respected us, I might have a shred of respect for him. I only keep from saying stuff because he's Melanie's fiance and I respect her, and he's the Minister of Magic so he can throw me in Azkaban under some silly pretext or another if he really wanted to."

Georgie: "He doesn't though. He was my doctor and counselor before he was forced into that position, and he was trying to help you understand more about my condition. He wouldn't put you in jail, Evan. I'm sorry I flipped out, what he said was right. I feel like I'm comprehending everything wrong."

Corbin: he heard them and sighed. What did he do that made Evan hate him so much? He sat down on the stone floor, brought his knees to his chest and put his head down. He felt absolutely horrible.

OOC: Ah. Well I hope you resolve it. I assume you don't want to explain it?

Veronica: "Yup."

Evan: "Do you care or do you not?"

OOC: Well, that was just my worst experience with it.

Eddie: She smiled a little. "I wonder what I'll do with all this time."

Claire: "Yeah really. Luckily there seems to be a lot."

Georgie: "Evan-" she sighed. "Lily, let's take you back to bed." She carried Lily back into her room and tucked her in.

Corbin: he walked in. "I never meant any of that. I'm so sorry. I didn't realize you disliked me. I'm sorry about this, I-" he sighed. "I'm sorry, Evan."

Christine: "Evan, I think Mel and Georgie are mad at you."

Evan: "Yup. Georgie is so unfailingly polite, it's great but she's polite even when people are being mean or rude to her, so when I stick up for myself or her and she thinks it's rude she gets upset with me. You've seen it."

Christine: "Yup. And Mel?"

Evan: He sighed. "Mel loves him, but as her brother she desperately wants me to approve, and since I'm not a fan, she's mad at me for not pretending hard enough for her sake, but she's also feeling guilty because she thinks she's failed somehow, whether she was trying to make me like him or whatever the goal that she thinks she failed was." He looked at Corbin. "You're sorry now. Now that you know you're not in everyone's good books. Only because I'm so close to Melanie."

Christine: "Evan, I think Mel and Georgie are mad at you."

Evan: "Yup. Georgie is so unfailingly polite, it's great but she's polite even when people are being mean or rude to her, so when I stick up for myself or her and she thinks it's rude she gets upset with me. You've seen it."

Christine: "Yup. And Mel?"

Evan: He sighed. "Mel loves him, but as her brother she desperately wants me to approve, and since I'm not a fan, she's mad at me for not pretending hard enough for her sake, but she's also feeling guilty because she thinks she's failed somehow, whether she was trying to make me like him or whatever the goal that she thinks she failed was." He looked at Corbin. "You're sorry now. Now that you know you're not in everyone's good books. Only because I'm so close to Melanie."

Corbin: "That isn't true. Of corse I want you to like me, but not because of Melanie. I don't understand, Evan, you think I'm this stuck up jerk who thinks himself higher than everyone. I had a horrible childhood with parents who commit suicide and a sister trying to kill me. I escaped and became a janitor at the ministry. Do you think someone who has cleaned up other people's slop thinks very high of himself? I'm also a complete failure as a minister. I don't understand why Mel loves me. Evan, I want you to know that I'd never do anything to hurt her or change her, I only want to make her happy." He sighed. "I'm sorry, Evan."

Georgie: she watched from Lily's room. "I'm not mad..." She said quietly and rubbed her arm awkwardly. She knew she was too polite.

Corbin: "That isn't true. Of corse I want you to like me, but not because of Melanie. I don't understand, Evan, you think I'm this stuck up jerk who thinks himself higher than everyone. I had a horrible childhood with parents who commit suicide and a sister trying to kill me. I escaped and became a janitor at the ministry. Do you think someone who has cleaned up other people's slop thinks very high of himself? I'm also a complete failure as a minister. I don't understand why Mel loves me. Evan, I want you to know that I'd never do anything to hurt her or change her, I only want to make her happy." He sighed. "I'm sorry, Evan."

Georgie: she watched from Lily's room. "I'm not mad..." She said quietly and rubbed her arm awkwardly. She knew she was too polite.

Evan: "I can't tell whether you're being fake or not."

Christine: "My brother and I - well, let's just say we know everything there is to know about show business. And most people in show business are condescending and fake, so it's very hard for both of us to make friends. My older brother, when he doesn't know someone well, listens to his instinct, and his instinct is set off by the slightest tone in a word. You probably misspoke, and boom, there went your first impression, just like that, and there his hatred began."

Evan: "I can't tell whether you're being fake or not."

Christine: "My brother and I - well, let's just say we know everything there is to know about show business. And most people in show business are condescending and fake, so it's very hard for both of us to make friends. My older brother, when he doesn't know someone well, listens to his instinct, and his instinct is set off by the slightest tone in a word. You probably misspoke, and boom, there went your first impression, just like that, and there his hatred began."

Corbin: "Why would I be fake?" He listened to Christine. "Right, you're Tommy Smith's kids. I'm sorry about a bad first impression. I really don't think any of the things you thought I did. I was just trying to help."

Georgie: she walked back and sat next to Evan, taking his hand. "I'm not mad at you at all, I just didn't want Lily to hear you two talking." She said quietly.

Gabrielle: she trotted into Melanie's office, Jackson still sleeping on her back. "Is everything okay?" She asked. She realized Mel couldn't understand her so she turned back and sat down, holding Jackson. "Is everything okay?"
