Melanie: She didn't know what to do to comfort them. "It'll be all right, Jane," she said through her silent tears. It was clear that Corbin's disappearance had seriously affected her emotionally; the circles under her eyes were at their darkest again.

OOC: okay, so after Corbin gets back I'm going to need to ask you all to tone it down on Mel a bit, at least for just a little while. It's just getting to the point where I'm not sure she's going to be able to deal with much more. She needs time to cope.

Georgie: she looked at the clock. Class was over! She apparated to Evan and hugged him. "I can't take any more Dora!" She saw the letter unopened on his desk. "Read it please. It explains something."
