OOC: lol I promise it's still good!
I don't like Ron much either, and I don't like Snape.
Professor Black: Melanie was finishing preparations on the Polyjuice potion, something she had found ready in Linus's things. She sat back and thought for a moment.
Having had no word from Jackson, she figured he wasn't coming back, though she couldn't understand why. Hogwarts had always been her home. Through thick and thin, it had always been there. She'd had friends and people who'd actually cared about her. Did Jackson not feel that? Even after Cedric's death and the tri-wizard tournament-something she'd known a good bit about (the portkey), but the minister wouldn't listen-and Dumbledore's death, no one wished to leave. She'd been taken from Hogwarts by the Order in her 7th year after the Carrows were placed there and Snape had been declared headmaster. She'd stayed with Andromeda Tonks, a rather distant relative she hadn't known about. When Remus had dropped Tonks off before he left to fight she had begged to go and he'd let her, though only because she was of age. Through the battle and the deaths nothing could replace this school.
She closed the lid on the potion and gathered her hairs back up. They had to win this fight, they just had to.
