Claire: She noticed Jean Pierre sat next to her. He seemed cool. They'd never talked before, but now seemed like a good chance. "Hey. You're Jean Pierre, right? I'm Claire Thomson."

Claire: "Tell me about it. I'm so done with classes."

Edeline: She chuckled. "I'd give 'em up, like Fred and George did when they were my age, but I need my NEWTs for when I get my fatal Quidditch injury and can no longer play, I'll need a job then."

Claire: "Oh I've never thought about it that way..." She sighed. "Before Harriet left I asked for some sort of deal. I drop out but worked to live here and play for Gryfindor. I know I can be a pro player. I'm not being boastful, it's in the numbers. But your right, what if I get injured. Darn it."

Edeline: "Quidditch doesn't have coaches, it's not like you could do that. I think you should at least think about not dropping your classes, or maybe waiting until 5th year career counseling with your Head of House. Most kids, once they know their career goal, drop the classes their career isn't looking for. So if you were to, say, teach flying at a school, you would take the classes needed to become a Flying professor."
